What is the Nissan Altima 0-60 mph time for different models?

hey, so i was chatting with my friend about the nissan altima and its 0-60 mph times. he told me the 2018 model with the 2.5L engine is around 6.6 seconds. i found it decent for everyday driving especially when u need a bit of zip. now, i’ve also heard someone say the 2021 model, with the bigger 2.5L turbocharged engine, hits 0-60 in about 5.6 seconds. and that’s not bad at all for a family car that still looks slick. btw, i once got stuck behind one on the highway, it passed a few cars with ease and i thought, “wow, alright.” so, which version did you hear about? is it worth the extra for the turbo one if u don’t race often? anyway, thought i’d share this with ya

I’ve had my hands on the 2021 Nissan Altima in Seattle, and let me tell ya, the V6 purrs from 0-60 mph in under 6 seconds. Had a buddy test the old 2008 model back in Canada—definitely took its sweet time compared to the newer ones. Watching the acceleration on these 'Altis is always a thrill, especially when you’re stuck in gridlocked traffic and crave that instant punch of speed. NASCAR vibes, less the dirt!

I’ve been living in Toronto and been a Nissan fan since forever; the Altima’s always been reliable. The 2020 model dashed from 0-60 in about 6.5 seconds, real sneaky! The 2023 version’s even zippier, knocking it down to 6.2 seconds with the SR turbo. You can’t beat that muscle in a sedan like this. Whether cruising down the 401 or hugging the city streets, it’s a solid choice. They sure did some good tuning over the years!

In Noosaa, I remember test-driving the '19 Altima 2.5S. It was solid! I swear the 0-60 wasn’t under 7 sec, felt pretty sittigh though. My bro in Cali reckons the SV model isn’t that peppy, might poke out a second or two more. Every trim kinda speaks to different folks – sticker care fond, power hungry peeps! Checked voltage stats some day and gotta say, it’s pretty spot on for a mid-sized ride, no mad drama. Nashiata? Totally smooth.

I’ve got to say, hitting that 0-60 mph in my '19 Altima Si just makes me grin. Growing up in Michigan, cars mean a lot, and this ride nails it. I’ve checked the newer models, and some buzz around the Limited or SV model types being quicker. But for me, the Si’s punchy engine is pure joy—proper acceleration. Each model’s feels so different, fun to drive 'em all 'round local spots!

I’ve clocked my '16 Altima in Chicago and it’s a smooth 6.5s, not bad for a sedan. Met some dudes from LA, drove their late '19 model, and they swear it was 5.4s. A buddy’s got the SV model, raved 'bout the slight edge in speed with their tire choice. Road conditions make a real diff, amirite? Talk about the thrill!

I had a buddy in Toronto who swore by his 2021 Altima. Vows it does 0-60 mph in about 6.5 seconds, feels real punchy. I’ve gotten mixed reports for the 2018; some folks say it’s more like 6.8, others around 7 seconds. One thing’s clear tho, it’s a solid cruiser. Nice ride, no complaints. My uncle in Florida, he dang skips past wanting more power but loves the efficiency. Gotta admit, that Altima is a keeper!

I grew up in Canada, always eyeing American muscle cars, but lately, I’m vibing more with the Nissan Altima. I’ve raced my friend’s Altima AWD, and that 0-60 in like 6.4 seconds was solid, not what I expected from a sedan, ya know? The SV model hits 60 in around 6.3 sec – it’s stealth but fast, like a ninja on ice. So impressed by the tech progress in these sedans, doesn’t get old, bro!

I’ve been cruising around LA with the 2023 Altima, and it’s the smoothest ride around these parts. My buddy’s got the 2019, and it surprised me how it still pops from 0-60 in about 6.3 seconds. Each model’s got its charm, but the newer ones feel like they have a bit more kick. Definitely gets ya that Nissan vibe without costing an arm and a leg. Gas prices and all.

Back when I lived in BC, I had an Altima. Spotted a black one in my hood, zero to 60 in like just over 6 secs. Not bad, right? But I’ve heard newer models can squeeze that time tighter, no surprise! Always a thrill!

Just did a burnout in Seattle with my '19 Altima. It pulls 0-60 in around 7.3s, a sweet surprise for a midsize! Different models tweak this time, kinda depends on the tune-ups and mods you put in. Always been impressed by its balance of luxury and peppy engine in this kinda ride. Definitely a solid pick for the daily commute with that extra zip!

Just aced the new Altima on the strip in LA, the SV i was hauling the new 6-seconds zone pretty smooth, way kool! Yeah I’ve seen the crosses brisk where some say the I-S but then realized that 0-60 in our hands isn’t fast – lag gorgeous miles! Free kicked it! :red_car::dash:

I’ve driven an '18 Altima in Canada, and it dawdles a bit longer than the newer models from '22–0 to 60. It felt like a snail race, but with better gas mileage! Newer ones are definitely beefier. Makes you think twice 'bout skipping the latest tech. :red_car::dash:

I’ve always loved the Altima, but gotta admit, getting behind the wheel of the 2022 RS model in Ontario was something else. The 0-60 mph sprint was lightning fast, way smoother than the 2018 model I had in Chicago. It’s clear some serious upgrades in power were made—I’m talking torque city! Incredibles automotifs, man. Such a beast to drive!
