so i was thinking about the value of my 2018 Subaru Outback. i bought it used a couple of years ago. it’s been super reliable, but man, maintenance can be a bit of a pain. got any of you guys experience with this model? i’m thinking of maybe selling it but not sure what to ask for.
heard from a buddy that Subarus hold their value kind of well, right? my Outback has a bit over 60k miles, and i’ve kept up with maintenance records. any ideas on how much its worth? also, i put in a new set of tires last year, which helps, i think.
but anyway, i noticed some depreciation, which is totally normal. you think it’ll be hard to find a buyer? i heard Subaru dealerships might offer a decent trade-in, but i’m not too sure. and what about private sales? thoughts on that?
oh and for those who are curious, i got the turbo engine version. that makes a difference in value, i suppose. would appreciate any insights or experiences you guys have had!

Been thinking bout trading my ride, a 2018 Subaru Outback. I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest and summer salt ain’t been kind to it. Just got an offer around $18k, seems decent. Everyone seems to love those Outbacks for reliability, and I guess it’s still holdin’ up fine on gas. No crazy mods here, just daily driver vibes. Considering the mileage it’s got, think I’m in the right ballpark.
