What is the best honda civic si 10th gen clutch kit available?

so, i was just driving my Civic Si one day, and bam, clutch started slipping. it was like my car was playing hard to get. I thought, surely there’s gotta be a good clutch kit out there. after some digging, I ended up with the Exedy Stage 1. it made a big difference, smooth shifts and didn’t feel like i was trying to push a boulder uphill anymore.

But I’ve heard some folks rave about ACT too. like, is that even a better option? i did a lot of street driving and a lil’ bit of track stuff, so which one is the champ for both?

And honestly, does anyone really notice a difference in daily driving? or is it just for show? I’m curious what others have gone with and if they’re still happy or if they wanna throw their clutches out the window now.

I ve had the Exedy Stage 1 kit on my Si and its solid. I got it installed in California feels great even in traffic.

But I ve heard that the ACT kit is pretty sweet too for those wanting a bit more. Choices choices.

I’ve gotta say the Exedy stage 1 kit made my 10th gen feel like a beast in the mountains of Colorado. Smooth engagement and no slip at all. Totally worth it.

But I heard some people aren’t fans of the rigidity.

I’ve been rocking the ACT clutch kit in my 2018 Civic Si here in California and its been pretty solid. My friend tried some off-brand one and regrets it. Stick with quality for this car trust me.

i’ve tried a few clutch kits for my civic si in cali and the exedy stage 1 was solid for daily driving but then i heard about the competition clutch which sounds like a good upgrade for performance.

I ve had a great experience with the Exedy stage 1 clutch kit for my Civic Si super smooth engagement and way less noise than stock. Did a road trip from Ontario to Michigan and it felt fantastic. Definitely worth considering if you’re in the market for one.

I’ve had the ACT HD clutch in my Civic SI for a while now and honestly its been great. It handles my daily driving and occasional track days pretty well. Just east coast vibes you know.

I’ve heard good things about the Exedy too but I prefer my setup. It just fits my style more.

But overall you can’t go wrong just depends on what you’re looking for really.

I ve had a lot of fun deadlifting in my Civic Si using the ACT clutch kit. It takes the power really well and feels solid on the street.

I’ve been eyeing the Exedy setup but some peeps say it’s too soft for aggressive driving

the pedal feel is super important for daily driving so I guess it kinda depends on what you want to do with your ride

I ve had my Civic Si for a few years now and the stock clutch was alright but once I swapped it for the Exedy stage 1 I felt like a new car.

Power delivery is smooth and it holds so much better.

I m in California and love hitting those mountain roads.

Def my favorite mod so far.

It feels like I can actually use all that power now.
