What is the 2018 f150 50 oil capacity for my truck?

so I remember when I got my 2018 F150, I was super excited. Took it for a spin and felt like king of the road. but then came the oil change time, and I had no clue how much oil it needed. Thought I’d just wing it and grab a few quarts, but ended up Googling like crazy.

After digging around, I found out it needs about 8 quarts with the filter change. Makes sense, right? but man, why can’t they just make it easy? Anyone else had a moment like that when you realized you might have bought too much oil?

And honestly, I still get confused sometimes. Can’t be the only one, right? How do you keep track of all this stuff?

i’ve got a 2018 F150 5.0 too and it takes around 8 quarts with the filter.

I’ve always found the oil capacity of my 2018 F150 50 confusing. Living in Texas I just grab the jug and pour.

Seems like it should be easy but it’s like a puzzle sometimes.
