What gr corolla mods help improve fuel efficiency the most?

so the other day, I was jawing with a buddy about our GR Corollas. I mean, these lil’ beasts are fun to drive, but gas prices these days? Yikes. So I decided to try some mods to squeeze a bit more mileage outta my tank.

First off, I swapped out the stock air filter for a high-flow one. But like, I noticed a diff right away. Engine felt more peppy and maybe it helps with fuel too? And then I thought about lightweight wheels. They look dope and make the car lighter, but does that really save gas?

I also tried those tire pressure thingies. Keeping 'em inflated really helps, I think. Have you guys found anything else that works? Or am I just chasing my tail here? Just wanna enjoy my rides without feeling like I’m donating to the oil companies every week.

My buddy in Canada swapped his stock exhaust for a lighter one and claims it helped his fuel efficiency a ton. I love the sound too.

I’ve heard good things about eco-tuning chips too. They can mess with the car’s brain in a cool way.

I ve heard lighter wheels can help plus maybe an aftermarket intake. Did some highway cruising in Texas and noticed a little better mileage with mine.

I have to say tuning is kinda hit or miss but worth a look if ya want more efficiency.

I’ve noticed changing the air filter in my GR Corolla here in Canada helped a tad with efficiency. It felt like breathing fresh air honestly.

Also I think a lightweight battery might have some impact too. But man those mods can add up real quick.

I’ve been tinkering with my GR Corolla here in Michigan trying to squeeze better mileage. Swapping the pizza cutter tires for lighter ones helped a bit. I mean who doesn’t want a bit more grip on those winter roads right

Also thinking about a tune next. Heard it maybe works or maybe it doesn’t. Who really knows

Ive heard that a tune can really help with better mpg. I tried it on my GR Corolla in Michigan and notice a small difference.

Just swapping out the air filter was nice too. Keeps things flowing better.

So I’ve been tinkering with my GR Corolla out here in Canada trying for better mpg. I put in a lightweight exhaust and air intake and wow the difference it made was surprising. I definitely noticed a bit more zip but the fuel efficiency gains were noticeable.

I ve been in New York with my GR Corolla for a few months now and I’m obsessed with the idea of improving my fuel efficiency. One thing that helped was switching to lightweight wheels I could feel the difference right away. Also I hear a cat-back exhaust can make the engine breathe better and maybe help with mpg.

Did some simple tune stuff too and boy that changed things. Cant wait to see how much I can save on gas.
