so last summer, my cd changer decided to stop working right in the middle of a road trip. like, seriously, talk about bad timing. i remember i was all pumped to jam out to my favorite tunes and then… silence. not cool. so, i had to figure out how to replace it myself.

first thing i did was find a manual online. it’s like a treasure map but for car stuff. then, you gotta disconnect the battery, like, safety first, right? after that, i opened the dash, which felt like unlocking a secret door.

but here’s the kicker, it’s super easy to mess up the wiring. so, i took a picture of everything before unplugging. makes it way easier to plug it all back in. And finally, just slide the new changer in and connect stuff back.

what about ya’ll? ever had to deal with a stubborn cd changer?
