What are the replacement options for 11th gen civic left side bumper trim piece?
so i was driving home the other day and boom, a trash can jumped out at me. perfect timing right? anyway, now my left side bumper trim piece is all messed up. it looks like a bad haircut.
i started searching for replacement options but man, it’s confusing. i found some aftermarket ones that look decent, but are they any good? like, do they fit right or is it just gonna fall off on the freeway?
some dude on a forum said something about junkyards having good stuff, but it’s hit or miss, ya kno? i just want something that doesn’t look like it came from a scrap heap. and what about paint matching? do i need to do that too or can i just slap it on? any thoughts from you guys would help.

also checked local junkyards and found a couple of options I prefer the OEM look but gotta save some cash

Ive been hunting for a left side bumper trim piece for my 11th gen civic after that shopping cart incident last summer in Toronto. It’s crazy how many options are out there but I’d suggest checking out Honda OEM parts online. Aftermarket options seem sketchy sometimes.
Tried a couple from eBay and they just didn’t fit right. It’s so frustrating but at least they were cheap.
I’ve been looking for that left side bumper trim for my Civic too. I found a spot online that had decent aftermarket options. Kinda expensive though. I don’t mind a little DIY work if it means saving some cash.
I hope it’s not hard to install.
I have been looking for such options too glad I found this thread. The OEM part is pricey but eBay has some decent aftermarket trims that don’t break the bank.
Had to replace mine after a fender bender last year in Toronto and I’m not about to pay dealership prices.
i found a pretty decent aftermarket option for my 11th gen civic in California I’ve seen some people mention OEM but that’s way too pricey for what it is. aftermarket serves the purpose and it looks good honestly. why spend more.
Man I was in a fender bender last month and needed that trim piece from a junkyard here in Ontario The aftermarket options seem okay but OEM is definitely the way to go if you wanna keep it classy.
I found myself needing a left side bumper trim for my Civic last month.
In Canada it’s such a pain trying to find that sort of replacement part. I ended up checking out junkyards and surprisingly found a compatible piece.
New ones are ridiculously priced too.
I guess you could also look into aftermarket options but they’re kinda hit or miss. I just wanted something that wasn’t falling apart honestly.

I have a friend who swears by the dealer parts saying they just look better overall. But are they really worth the price?
Found a universal trim piece online cheap but its a gamble fitting it right. My buddy in Canada had to modify his after a bad fit. Maybe OEM is safe but pricey. Just throwing it out there
I ve had my 11th gen Civic for a year now and that left side bumper trim piece cracked after just a few months.
I ended up going with a replica part from an online store it fit pretty well and was affordable.
Got lucky it matches my color exactly.

Dealer parts are expensive but aftermarket options are out there. I ended up finding one online that worked pretty well. Just be sure to check reviews before buying!
I’ve been looking into this since my bumper trim piece fell off last winter while I was driving through a snowstorm in Minnesota.
Heard OEM parts are the best but they can be pricey. I’ve seen some aftermarket options that might fit too but not sure about the quality. It’s a gamble.
