What are the different 88 f150 paint codes available?

so, last summer I finally got my hands on a ’88 F150, which was a total gem. I spent weeks searching for paint codes, just trying to find the right match for a little touch-up. I mean, who knew there were so many options? I thought I was just gonna find one or two and be done, but nope.

I remember one time, I thought “oh, I’ll just pick up some generic red paint” and it looked like a sad clown next to the original color. It was like my truck was embarrassed to be seen. But did you know there’s actually like 10 different red shades for that year? What’s up with that?

I ended up finding the right code after some serious digging—not easy when you’re trying to balance work and truck love. Anyone else had this struggle with paint codes? Like really, how many shades of blue does one truck need?
