So, just got my 2015 Subaru Forester Premium 2.5i and a couple things are bugging me. First off, the AC works pretty much only when I’m at stoplights. Driving it and the air stops cold, any idea why? And the engine light keeps popping up. Took it to the shop, they did a reset and it’s cool for a couple of weeks then back on again. Might be related to the idle issue? The car feels like it’s sputtering sometimes when I’m at low speeds or trying to park.
Also, the tires lose pressure like crazy. Got new ones and it’s like a game of “find the leak” each month. Anyone else having that? But the best part is the interior, comfy as heck for road trips, even the back seat. Audio system isn’t the best but at least it’s there.
Brakes make this weird noise, like metal on metal maybe? Could use some tips. Oh and, visibility is great, love the panoramic sunroof. Has anyone figured out how to get the AC to work better? Any advice??
I’ve got a 2015 Subaru Forester Premium 2.5i up here in Toronto and here’s the scoop: mine’s been throwing some whack start issues, especially in the cold. Friends here say it’s common, looking at you, clutch judder and wacked-out CVT sometimes too. Garnk you feelin’ that grind? Subaru folks promising fixes but craaazy waiting time, ugh!
I’ve got a 2015 Subaru Forester Premium 2.5i up in Ontario, Canada. Love the 4x4, but it’s had a few battery drama acts — swap them out over a year, already. Subie’s great but that electrical glitch flummoxes me. Can’t complain tho, still holds up with the AWD. Buying subsuds probable again for style!
Got a 2015 Subaru Forester Premium 2.5i here in Toronto, IL. Mine’s had issues with the CVT, some odd rattling, and sluggish acceleration. Heard same from others. Trade it off anytime for peace of mind. Bang for buck noted, though!
I’ve owned a 2015 Subaru Forester Premium 2.5i for a couple of years in California, and I’ve hit a few hiccups. The CVT transmission’s all fiddly sometimes, and mine gulps gas like there’s no tomorrow even on highways. Plus, the center console door’s finicky for me. But hey, on the bright side, it’s super reliable overall!
In Indiana, I’ve had issues with the 2015 Subaru Forester Premium 2.5i’s touchscreen acting up during extreme temps. And man, the AWD can be a pain on the wallet. Mine started to make weird sounds under the hood. Doesn’t help with the resale either, but it’s a solid ride otherwise. Subaru loyalists would say it’s worth it?
I’ve owned the 2015 Subaru Forester Premium 2.5i in Calgary for a couple years, and while it’s reliable, dewars weren’t perfect. Headlights flickered often—I think cause of the bulbs. Also, the transmission shifts a bit rough on inclines. But it’s a solid SUV, handles well. Definitely need those updates Subaru did in later models. Overall, still keeping it as my trusty ride!
I have a 2015 Subaru Forester Premium 2.5i in Toronto, and I’ve noticed a few quirks. The CVT transmission can be annoying, especially when nipping from traffic light to light. Also, I’ve had some face-hugger issues with the climate control acting up randomly. Not a fan of dealing with a touchscreen that minds its own business!
I’ve been driving my 2015 Subaru Forester Premium 2.5i around Texas for a year now and, man, sometimes it’s like an adventure when the check engine light pops on again. EGR problems and head gasket issues seem to pop up often, especially in this hot climate. Reliable and great for off-roading, but the CVT transmission can be a pain. Friends say Subaru’s customer service is dope though, which helps when you’re stuck in gear or the electronic shift struggles suddenly. Still love this Forester though!
I’ve got a 2015 Subaru Forester Premium 2.5i from California, and boy, it’s been quite the journey! Engine stalling randomly—a nightmare during traffic! Also, some foglight glitches appear frequently. AC’s acting up too, blowing warm air again and again. Can’t deny though, the ride’s comfy but the maintenance costs…ouch! Anyone else having similar troubles with theirs? Love the Subaru brand, but man, this car is needy!

I’ve owned a '15 Subaru Forester Premium 2.5i in the great white north, Canada. Love the ride n all, but had issues with the CVT acting weird. Shifts were too smooth one min, jerky the next! Plus, the radio was on the fritz, sucked having no tunes some mornings. Subaru’s got perks, but man, gotta watch out for those quirks!
I’ve got a 2015 Forester Premium 2.5i up in Canada, always been shaky on rough roads. The subaru’s start-stop system sometimes glitchy. I had a dealer replace the engine control unit—an unexpected expense! But otherwise runs smooth for most day, my family love its space!
I’ve got a 2015 Subaru Forester Premium in Oregon, and let me tell ya, it’s not all sunshine. The A/C’s been on the fritz—had it blown out twice already. Swearing under my breath every time. Also, the CVT transmission’s got a mind of its own. Doesn’t shift smooth like on my buddy’s Subaru. Not huge problems, but definitely naggy little issues cropping up. Still love driving it, though!
I’ve had my 2015 Subaru Forester on the road in Texas for years now. Noticed some issues with the aux input jamming a lot—probably my bad music taste, haha! Also, leaks around the door seals seem pretty common. Just keep those wipers tight, folks!
I’ve got a 2015 Subaru Forester in Chicago and the battery’s a deadbeat, poor visibility at night’s nasty too, and sometimes it leaks oil a li’l, making me mad during the winter. Still love it though!
In Vancouver, I’ve had my 2015 Subaru Forester for a couple years. The AWD is solid, but the idle speed control got messed up and the tail lights act weird. Maintenance ain’t cheap, though. Subaru’s service manuals are a treasure trove if you wanna tinker. Glad it’s got great safety features, though!
I’ve got this 2015 Subaru Forester Premium here in Canada, and the CVT transmission is giving me grief – makes the ride jerky. Battery issues too, had it replaced twice in the first year. Blown head gaskets are no joke. Drives alright otherwise, just needs TLC. Had to keep it cool!
I’ve owned a '15 Forester Premium in Toronto and man, garbage pump issues are crazy annoying! Mine kept flooding, felt like I was driving with a wetsuit
. Also, had to replace the CV boots twice on the highway, talk about stress. Made me reconsider getting another Subaru, honestly. Anyone else dealing with this?
