so, I’ve had my share of used Honda CR-Vs, and lemme tell you, they’re not perfect. like, sometimes you get weird electrical issues. my buddy had this problem where his lights flickered like a disco party. But also, some models have transmission problems. it’s like they wanna play hide and seek. have you ever had that happen?
you gotta watch out for the wear and tear on the interior too. the seats can get all ripped up, especially if previous owners had kids or a dog. but honestly, for the price, it’s still a solid ride, right?
ive had my CR-V for a few years now and honestly it has been pretty solid but I ve heard so many stories about transmission issues especially with the older models like 2007 to 2010 it gets kinda scary. Then there’s the AC problems which I’ve run into myself so yeah it’s a mixed bag but still love the space it offers.
I had a friend with a CR-V in Toronto and they kept mentioning weird transmission slips like it just forgot how to shift.
I ve seen rust on a few models too like it’s been on a beach vacation or something. Just gotta check under the paint.
I ve had my 2015 CR-V for a couple years now and its been pretty reliable but man the infotainment system is a total pain.
I know folks who had problems with the transmission too. Just a hassle sometimes.
I ve seen some CR-Vs with weird transmission issues my buddy had one in California it was like a jerky ride.
Also I’ve heard about air conditioning problems which is annoying especially in summer.
Had a CR-V in Seattle and the transmission started acting up around 100k miles. I ve heard fuel pump issues can come up too.
But honestly the space and comfort were top-notch even with the problems so I guess you gotta weigh it all. Solid car but keep an eye on those specifics.
I had a Honda CR-V a few years back in Seattle and the transmission issues started showing up at around 100k miles
I ve heard nightmare stories about the door locks acting up too so definitely watch for that if you ever get one. Just saying
Ive had my 2014 CR-V for a couple of years now and it’s been decent overall but I noticed sometimes the air conditioning acts up like it doesn’t want to cool down—super annoying in summer in Florida.
Also heard stories about the transmission issues in older models which make me cringe just thinking about it.
Still love the space and reliability though. Definitely a mixed bag.
I ve had my used CR-V for a couple years now and the transmission sometimes makes odd sounds not what you expect from Honda yeah.
Also the rearview camera can be glitchy in rainy weather so that’s fun.
I ve had my used CR-V for a couple years now in New York and I swear the infotainment system can drive you crazy. Sometimes it just freezes up out of nowhere.
Other than that I’ve noticed some rust on the undercarriage which I guess is common with the age. But hey its a comfy ride for road trips.
ive had my 2014 CR-V for a while now and it’s been a decent ride but I’ve noticed some strange noises coming from the rear. also the dashboard lights flicker occasionally like a disco party.
still love the space it offers though
I ve had my CR-V in Canada for a couple years now and the air conditioning went out last summer. Not cool at all.
Also I’ve read about engine issues and it stresses me out. Hope mine stays reliable.
Ive owned a 2010 CR-V for about a year now and its been pretty solid but yeah the transmission issues pop up sometimes especially if it wasn’t serviced right.
I’ve seen spotty complaints on rust around the wheel wells in some areas of Canada.
Overall though it feels roomy and reliable so its hard to complain too much.
Had a 2010 CR-V in Michigan and it was reliable but the transmission started having issues around 120k miles. I ve heard others say the same. Great car otherwise. Just keep an eye out.
I’ve got a 2017 CR-V and I love it but I’ve had some fun with the door locking system acting weird. Sometimes it just won’t unlock when I hit the button. Super annoying when my arms are full of groceries.
Also I’ve heard a lot about this brake issue from others it can be scary for sure. The engine’s pretty great otherwise smooth rides up here in Canada but those little things can get under your skin.
Had a 2010 CR-V and loved it till the transmission started acting weird around 100k miles. I’ve heard others mention similar issues. But hey the gas mileage was great and it handled snow like a champ here in Canada. Just be careful about maintenance they can be a bit tricky.
