What are the common issues with a 2017 f150 baxter ford?

So a buddy of mine got this 2017 F150, right? First off, let me tell ya, the truck looks great. But he started having issues with the transmission. Like, one minute it’s shifting smooth, then next it’s like a drunk giraffe trying to walk. Really weird.

He also mentioned something about the rear view camera acting all fuzzy, like it’s on a cheap phone. Plus, I’ve read online about the engine ticking noise. I swear, I heard it once while we were driving and I thought a bird was trapped under the hood. Have any of you had similar problems?

And then there was the whole issue with the fuel pump. I mean, who wants their truck stalling out like it’s auditioning for a horror film? Just curious if other folks had these headaches too.

I’ve got a 2017 F150 and the transmission has been weird lately it hesitates and I’m like what the heck is going on. My buddy in Texas had the same issue I think it might be a Ford thing.

Other than that the ride’s nice but gotta keep an eye on those dashboard alerts.

I’ve had my 2017 F150 for over a year now and the brake issues are a pain in the neck in Calgary. my buddy had the same problem so annoying.

I ve had my 2017 F150 for a couple years now in Michigan and man the transmission issues can be a pain sometimes. I remember getting stuck in the snow one winter because it just wouldn’t shift right.

Also the infotainment system crashes more than I’d like.

I had a 2017 F150 that I loved mostly but started having issues with the transmission around 50k miles in Chicago. That was annoying.

Ive heard from others the electronics can be iffy too and some have weird oil leaks.

Still a solid truck for towing though so can’t be all bad. I’ll take the quirks honestly.

Had a 2017 F150 in Minnesota and it was great in snow but the transmission gave me fits after 40k miles I ve seen a few friends with similar issues

Also the paint started peeling way too soon it was like watching my truck get a bad haircut

Still a solid ride for hauling though

I’ve had my 2017 F150 for a while now it’s been pretty solid. But that weird transmission judder thing is annoying sometimes.

Heard some folks in Texas complain about that too so I’m not alone.

Ive had my 2017 F150 for a while now bought it used in Seattle and its been a wild ride.

But man the shifting issues with the transmission can drive you nuts sometimes.

I also hear about that annoying water leak problem but luckily I haven’t faced that yet knock on wood.

Overall its pretty solid but those little gremlins pop up every now and then.

had a 2017 F150 in Michigan and the transmission gave me hell after only a couple years
the infotainment system also glitched out sometimes it was super annoying
but I did love how strong it felt on the road overall kinda mixed feelings about it

I remember driving my 2017 F150 up in Ontario and I had issues with the transmission jerking sometimes. Really annoying when you’re just trying to cruise.

Then there’s that pesky fuel gauge problem where it shows empty when you know you just filled up. I ve heard a few friends complain about sync system glitches too. Just a mixed bag really.

Ive got a 2017 F150 up here in Michigan and honestly the transmission issues are a pain. Been slipping out of gear just when I think I’m cruising smooth.

Also the rear end noise is driving me nuts I just hope it holds on long enough for me to trade it in.

Other than that I love the space inside just wish it would keep it together better. A bit of a mixed bag for sure.

Had my 2017 F150 for a couple years now up in Canada and honestly it’s been a bit rough. The fuel pump gave me trouble last summer which made long drives stressful. And don’t get me started on the transmission sometimes slipping when I’m merging on the highway.

I’ve heard others complain too about the paint chipping easily. Just feels like I’m babying it way too much for a truck.
