What are the best upgrades for the F150 27 ecoboost performance?

so i remember when i first got my F150, felt like the king of the road, but after a few months, the power just felt kinda blah. like, it was okay, but I wanted more, ya know? So, I started looking into upgrades and ended up with a cold air intake and a tuner. let me tell ya, it was like giving my truck a Red Bull.

but then I added exhaust and man, the sound was music to my ears. it went from ‘meh’ to ‘whoa’. anyone else got the same vibes or what? but watch out for the gas mileage; definitely took a hit.

And now im thinking about a bigger intercooler. seems like a good idea tho, right? anyone tried it? i mean, who doesn’t want a cooler truck, literally?

Drivin in Texas I’ve found a cold air intake really boosts performance on my F150 27 ecoboost. It’s wild how much more responsive it feels now. I ve also heard a good tune can do wonders too. Just my two cents.

I ve got the 27 Ecoboost in my 2018 F150 love it but I have to admit some power upgrades really changed the game for me. I added a cold air intake and a tune and wow what a difference.

I’m in Texas and towing is a breeze now. It’s not just about power though the sound of the turbo is music to my ears.

I ve got a 2019 F150 EcoBoost up here in Michigan and I tell ya the performance upgrades are wild. I swapped out the stock exhaust for a Borla and it sounds amazing now.

Then there’s the tune from Unequaled Innovation which made a noticeable difference. Adds a bit of pep but fuel economy still decent. Definitely worth checking out if you wanna make that truck roar.

Tuning is a game changer if you wanna squeeze out more power. Not saying it’s all rainbows tho had a few hiccups with mpg but who cares when you feel that torque hitting.

Ive had my F150 with the 2.7 EcoBoost for a couple years in Colorado and honestly its a beast. I love the power after I threw on an aftermarket exhaust and a tune.

I have to say the difference in throttle response is huge.

Also don’t sleep on cold air intakes they really help breath better.

so I’ve got a 2018 F150 with the 2.7 ecoboost living in Michigan and I’ve had great results after putting on a custom tune and a cold air intake. It’s wild how much more responsive it feels now.

I’ve also added some upgraded exhaust that gives it a nice growl. Makes driving through the snowy streets a bit more fun. Definitely recommend it if you want something more from your truck.

I’ve gotta say upgrading my F150 ecoboost was a game changer. I put on a cold air intake and wow the throttle response is unreal. Also added a tune from some local guy in the Midwest which made a huge difference in power.

Had some issues at first with the install but it was worth it for the boost in performance.

Next I think I’ll look into an exhaust system.

I’ve had my F150 27 EcoBoost for about a year now and the performance is solid but I wanted more power. I added a cold air intake and a custom tune and wow it changed everything

Makin it feel snappier on the throttle and I actually noticed better fuel economy too. Not sure how that works btw but I’m not complaining

Ive got a 27 eco boost up here in Ontario and a good tune makes a difference. Don’t forget the upgraded intercooler its a game changer for heat.

Honestly love the aggressive stance after some leveling kits and tires love how it looks rugged now.

Had my F150 27 EcoBoost in Texas and decided to go with a cold air intake. I’ve noticed better throttle response and a bit more rumble. Super fun upgrade.

Then I added a tuner which really opened up some power. Definitely worth it if you want a noticeable change without going crazy.

man I’ve been loving my F150 27 ecoboost here in Michigan took it mudding last weekend and it was a blast

definitely recommend a cold air intake and a tuner they really make a difference I ve noticed way better throttle response more power and fuel efficiency also don’t sleep on a nice cat back exhaust sounds amazing

just my two cents but you can’t go wrong with those upgrades

Honestly some people say exhaust upgrades are overrated but I really like the sound it gives. Whatever you do make sure to brace for the mileage drop though.

Still love my truck tho

living in Texas I can say adding a good tune and upgrading that intercooler makes a huge difference I’ve felt the boost kick in which is nice drivability improves too and honestly the stock exhaust can be a bit too quiet a nice cat back system really opens it up I love the sound now

Cold air intakes seem hype but they’re worth it I think.
