What are the best upgrade options for 2014 f150 headlights?

so I was cruising down the highway one night, right? and outta nowhere, my headlights just kinda went dim. I was like, great, now I can’t see a thing. I mean, I thought I was in a horror movie. I started looking into headlight upgrades after that.

I found these LED kits that were super bright. But man, they cost a pretty penny. My buddy told me about some plug-and-play ones that were way easier to install. Have any of you tried those? I was like, if I’m gonna do this, I want something that actually works, ya know.

And then there’s those fancy projector headlights. They look cool, but do they really help with visibility? I dunno, might just be for show. Anyway, what are your thoughts? What have you used?

man I have a 2014 F150 and the stock headlights are pretty weak driving through the dark roads in Oregon. I ve been looking at some LED options they look so sleek plus they brighten things up quite a bit

heard HIDs are also good but not sure about the installation hassle. Definitely need an upgrade though my nighttime visibility is like driving with sunglasses on

I went with a set of LED headlights and wow what a difference. So much brighter than the stock ones. Definitely worth it if you want better visibility.

ive had great luck with HID kits for my 2014 F150 they throw light like a stadium in rural Utah

just be cautious with the wiring sometimes it gets messy

Ive been loving my 2014 F150 but those factory headlights just dont cut it at night. Im in Michigan and in winter it gets dark early. I swapped for projector LED headlights and wow the difference is unreal. Night driving feels like a different world now. Definitely worth the upgrade just be careful with the installation.

I ve got a 2014 F150 and recently upgraded to some LED headlights. What a difference it makes driving at night in North Carolina. They just light up the road like nothing I’ve seen before.

I thought about going with HID but heard they can cause issues with the housing. Had a buddy who tried that route and ended up regretting it. So yeah LED seems to be the way to go for me. Super happy with my choice.

I ve seen a bunch of guys in my garage here in Colorado using projector headlights too they look sharp. Just dont go too crazy with the brightness though you might blind someone

I’ve found LED headlight upgrades make a huge difference in visibility at night. I live in Seattle and it’s always rainy.

You should also consider projector headlights for a more modern look they really add character to your truck.
