What are the best tires for honda crv in winter conditions?
so last winter was a wild ride. i thought my honda crv could handle snow like a champ, but turns out my all-season tires were more like “all-don’t-try-this-at-home.” slipping and sliding all over the place, i felt like i was auditioning for a bad ice skating show.
after that debacle, i did some digging. my buddy swears by the Michelin X-Ice tires. he says they grip like a toddler on a cookie. then there’s the Bridgestone Blizzak, which everyone raves about. I mean, if it can make my crv feel like a snow plow, sign me up, right?
have any of you tried these or got any other recs? i’m ready to kick winter’s butt this time around. all i want is to get to work without turning into a human snowball.
So I live in the snowy parts of Canada and I swear by the Bridgestone Blizzak tires for my CRV. They grip the road like glue. I’ve tried some cheap ones and just slipped everywhere. It’s a game changer.
I live in Vermont and winters here are brutal. I’ve had great luck with Bridgestone Blizzak tires on my CRV. They handle snow like a champ.
But I have also tried Michilin X-Ice and they worked too. It all depends on the road conditions honestly. Either way it’s key to have good winter tires.
Living in northern Michigan I’ve tried a few winter tires on my CRV. The Bridgestone Blizzak tires were a game changer for me they grip like glue on ice. I ve also heard great things about Michelin X-Ice. Just make sure you don’t skimp on quality.
I live in Michigan and the winters are brutal here. I’ve had great luck with the Michelin X-Ice tires on my CR-V. They grip like a champ on snow and ice.
Last year I tried some other brands and honestly I regretted it big time.
Stick with the tried and true ones like Bridgestone Blizzak too. Love how they handle the worst weather.
I’ve had great luck with Michelin X-Ice in New York. They grip so well on those icy streets.
Went through some gnarly snowstorms and they held strong.
Totally recommend them for CRV owners.
I had a rough winter in Vermont last year with my CR-V. Switched to Michelin X-Ice and wow what a difference.
They grip like crazy on ice and snow.
I’ve heard some good things about Bridgestone Blizzaks too. Really just depends what you need.
I remember last winter in Canada my CRV was sliding all over the place until I got some Michelin X-Ice tires. I’ve been amazed at the grip they had on icy roads.
Some folks swear by Bridgestone Blizzaks too but I think Michelin really workers well for me.
It’s just nice knowing I can handle that crazy snowstorm without panicking.
living in Minnesota I ve tried a lot of tires for my CRV in winter. The Michelin X-Ice is pretty solid for icy roads they grip really well.
But on slush I found the Bridgestone Blizzak didn’t let me down. I ve also heard good things about Nokian Hakkapelliitta but I haven’t used them yet.
Just make sure you get a good alignment too.
I’ve used Michelin X-Ice on my CRV last winter in Minnesota and wow they were great on snow. Highly recommend them.
Just be careful on icy roads though they can slide a bit.
I ve had my CRV in the snowy woods of Vermont last winter and boy it was a ride. The Bridgestone Blizzaks really saved me from sliding around.
Tire choice makes such a difference in those kind of conditions.
I mean grip is everything.
