What are the best tailgate top edge protector options for 2007 ford f150 xl 46 v8?

hey guys, if you’ve got a 2007 F150 XL, you know how rough the tailgate can get. i learned the hard way when my buddy dropped a cooler on mine. now, I’m all about tailgate protectors.

there are a few good options out there. i’ve tried the Bedrug tailgate mat, and it’s pretty sweet. keeps things from sliding around and looks good too.

but then there’s the DuraGrip one, which is tough as nails. i haven’t tried it yet, but i heard it’s like armor for your tailgate.

what do you guys think is better? and how do you even install these things, is it easy or what? I could use some tips.

I’ve found that the BedRug tailgate protector works great on my 2007 F150! It’s really durable and fits perfectly. Makes loading stuff so much easier too!

I’ve had my 2007 F150 XL for years, and a good tailgate protector is a must! I recommend the BedRug tailgate mat. It’s durable and didn’t fade in the Texan sun. A solid investment to keep that edge looking sharp and protected!

I’ve had my 07 F150 out here in Colorado for years, and a good tailgate protector is a must. I ended up going with a rubber one, and it really held up against the weather and wear. It’s saved my tailgate from so many scratches! I gotta say, definitely worth investing in.

I ve tried a few, and the rubber options work great! Keeps my tailgate safe during those weekend camping trips in Oregon.

Living in Texas, I’ve always been on the lookout for solid tailgate edge protectors for my 2007 F150. So far, I’ve tried the rubber ones, and they’re decent, but I’ve heard good things about the vinyl protectors too. Gotta say, keeping that tailgate scratch-free is a must for me!

Living in Texas, I’ve had my F150 for years, and a good tailgate protector is a must. I’ve tried a few, but the rubberized options work best for preventing scratches and dings. Highly recommend!

I’ve been using a rubber edge protector for my 2007 F150, and it’s been great! Living in Texas, the summer sun can really damage the paint, but it keeps everything safe during tailgates. Definitely worth it! A hard plastic one could be good too, but I prefer the rubber!

As a proud owner of a 2007 F150 XL in Texas, I ve tried a few edge protectors. The rubber options work pretty good, but I found the vinyl ones to really hold up against the Texas sun. Just don’t forget to clean the area first, or they won’t stick well!

I ve had great luck with the Tuff Truck Tailgate Edge Guard on my 2007 F150 XL. It’s held up during all my tailgates in Texas, protecting the paint from scratches. I wouldn’t trade it for anything—I mean, it’s worked wonders. Recommend it for sure!

I’ve had my 2007 F150 XL for years, and I definitely recommend the Dee Zee tailgate guard. I installed it last summer in Texas during a tailgating trip, and it’s held up great against scratches and dings. Plus, the install was super easy! I’ve also heard good things about the BAK Industries options. Just make sure it fits snug on that edge!

Living down in Texas, I’ve always been cautious about keeping my tailgate safe. For my 2007 F150 XL, I’ve found that the DECKED tailgate protector really works wonders, giving solid coverage and looking sleek. I also tried a softer option, but it didn’t hold up well after a few fishing trips. Overall, you can’t go wrong with a durable edge protector to avoid scratches and dings!
