so i’ve been thinking about roof racks for my chevy silverado and i gotta say after trying a few the Yakima Supreme series is my fav. it was super easy to install and looks neat. plus, it fit like a glove. but ya really gotta check the weight limits tho. and i saw a guy who wanted to put his jet ski on it but didn’t check the weight and ended up with a cracked rack – oops!
and so i tried some others like Thule and Rhino and they were alright but yakima just felt sturdier ya know? anyone else have experience with crossbars or something different? i’m curious… also wondering if anyone’s tried those magnetic racks – they seem a bit dodgy to me. anyway, gotta go – hit me up if you got any tips or stories!
