What are the best replacement speakers for a 2013 ford f 150 xlt?
so the other day, I’m driving my F-150 and cranking up some tunes, right? but then I realize my speakers sound like they’re underwater. I mean, come on, I didn’t buy this truck to listen to muffled noise. So I started looking into replacement speakers, and whew, there’s a lot out there.
I tried some JBLs and honestly, they were killer. But then I heard some kickers at my buddy’s place and wow, bass for days. what do you guys think is the best bang for the buck? should I even bother with those fancy brands, or stick with what works?
And if you got any tips on wiring or installation, I’m all ears. can’t afford to break my truck even more, lol. What’s your experience with this stuff?
I’ve got a 2013 F-150 XLT too and it had the factory speakers that were pretty meh honestly. So I swapped in some JBL GTO609C components that I found on sale in Seattle last summer.
They sound way better than the stock ones and totally made my road trips from Seattle to Vancouver way more enjoyable. I have noticed clearer highs and deeper bass just from that upgrade.
I’ve got a 2013 F-150 XLT too but I’m in Texas where the roads are basically a choir of rumbles. I’ve swapped out my stock speakers for some JBL GTO609C and man what a difference. I have never heard country music sound so crisp.
I’ve also seen people rave about the Rockford Fosgate Punch series. Whatever you choose make sure they fit your truck or else you’re in for a world of headaches during installation. Just saying.
had 2013 f150 xlt in Canada road trips were epic but sound system was lacking I’ve switched to kickers and the bass hits just right it’s like driving a concert on wheels now honestly huge upgrade
Had a 2013 F150 XLT in sunny California and really wanted to up my audio game. I’ve tried the Rockford Fosgate P1683 and wow they fit perfectly. The sound is crisp and clear even when driving with windows down.
Also tried some JBL speakers and honestly those thump hard too. It really depends on what vibe you’re going for. I have a buddy who swears by Kicker though. Just a heads up if you’re in the UK stuff can be pricier.
I remember when I upgraded my 2014 F150 in Seattle it was like night and day. I’ve got Kicker speakers now and they are just awesome. Had some buddies over for a road trip and we blasted tunes through the mountains.
I’ve heard a lot about the Rockford Fosgate ones too everyone seems to rave about them. Depending on where you live maybe check out JBL as well. Sounds make such a difference in the ride.
I remember when I swapped out the speakers in my 2013 F-150 in Toronto years ago it was night and day. I’ve got those Kickers in there now and they really boost the sound.
If you’re looking for something with punch I’d say go for those Infinity’s too. Just a thought.
I have a 2013 Ford F150 XLT and I’ll tell you when I swapped out my stock speakers for some Pioneer 6x8s it was like hearing music for the first time again. Johnstown PA never sounded better.
I ve tried a few brands but those Pioneers just hit right with the bass. Just my two cents.
I ve got a 2013 F150 XLT and I swapped in some JBLs they sound amazing while driving in Toronto can’t get enough.
Had some pioneers before but they just didn’t cut it so I went for kicks. Pure bliss on those long drives.
I ve got a 2013 F150 XLT in Calgary and recently swapped out my speakers. I tried those Polk Audio ones and wow they really made a difference in sound clarity. My buddies were impressed on our last camping trip.
I have heard good things about Rockford Fosgate too. Just my two cents.
I ve got a 2013 F150 XLT in Toronto and switched to Kenwood speakers and it made a huge difference
Best sound I’ve heard driving around the lakes
got a 2013 F150 xlt in Texas and switched to kickers lately
big difference nice clear sound compared to stock
I’ve tried others but these really hit deep on bass
def like to crank tunes on road trips
worth the upgrade if you ask me
easier to install too
