What are the best mods for a 1997 f150 red tune?
so i got my 1997 f150 a few years ago, and man, what a ride. first thing i did was throw on a cold air intake, and wow, the throttle response was like going from a sleepy tortoise to a quick rabbit. but then i added a dual exhaust system and it sounded like a beast. i was nice and happy until my buddy said i should’ve gone for a performance chip instead.
And have you guys tried those upgraded spark plugs? i tossed some in and it was like my engine was saying thanks for the boost. sometimes i wonder though, what’s next? maybe a suspension lift to go full-on monster truck mode? could be fun but is it worth it?
but seriously, i wanna hear what worked for you guys. been thinking about a new tuner to get that red tune just right. have you had any crazy experiences with mods? i’m all ears

Also upgraded the exhaust and let me tell you the sound is just perfect for cruising down the 401. The red tune really makes a difference especially when you need that extra pull for hauling. Just makes the whole experience much better.

My buddy threw on some headers and wow the sound is intoxicating. Just be careful with the wiring if you’re not familiar. Trust me I’ve learned the hard way.
