What are the best f150 phone mount ball options available?

So, I was driving around last week, and my phone decided to take a dive from my dashboard. I panicked for a second, thinking I was gonna have to fish it out from under the seat with a stick. But that got me thinking about how I need a better phone mount for my F150.

I’ve tried a few different types, and honestly, the ones with the ball joint are the best. They really keep my phone in place, even when I hit the bumps. I had one that was super wobbly, and it gave me anxiety whenever I’d get a text.

So, has anyone found a good one? I heard that some mounts are super easy to install and can hold even the biggest phones. But, I’m also worried about it blocking my view. What do you guys use?

I found a solid one at my local store in Oregon I ve been using it for a year and it holds my phone great even on bumpy roads

the options are endless honestly but I think the one that clips to the air vent is pretty neat too

I ve tried a few mounts in my F150 and honestly some just fall apart after a week like that one from XYZ brand so frustrating. But the RAM mount I got recently is rock solid. Fits right into the ball socket and holds my phone like it was made for it.

A bit pricey but worth it.

I’ve tried a few mounts in my F150 and the ProClip one has held up nicely here in Texas. Stays put even when I hit those bumpy backroads.

Pretty decent stuff honestly. No issues with my phone slipping. Can’t say the same for other brands though.

I’ve had my F150 for a while now and I tried a couple of phone mounts. The ones that attach to the air vents are okay but they always end up falling off when I hit a bump. Really annoying when you’re driving on those rough roads out here in Montana.

Then I found a ball mount that sticks to the dashboard. It’s solid. Doesn’t move at all and I can see my phone easily GPS works great without shaking. Just wished I’d found it sooner.

I’ve been on the lookout for F150 phone mount ball options lately since I’m always driving around Ontario. The magnetic ones are pretty cool but I’ve found they can slip sometimes.

A buddy swears by the Ram Mounts though so maybe I should give those a try.

Ive been driving my F150 up in the Rockies and I really needed a good phone mount. I tried a few and honestly the ProClip and RAM Mount are solid.

The ProClip is pretty sleek and easy to install it fits right to the dashboard. The RAM Mount is durable and I can adjust it to any angle which is great when I’m on rough trails.

But then again some folks swear by the magnetic ones too which I found kinda sketchy. Whatever floats your boat I guess

had a friend who swore by a MagSafe mount for his F150 in Toronto it worked really well until the summer heat made his phone slip a bit

I reckon that any solid ball mount is good just need to find one that fits your vibe and stays put

I have also seen some cool magnetic ones but they don’t hold as well as expected. Plus it’s a hassle repositioning my phone.

I’ve been using the RAM Mounts in my F150 for a bit now and I gotta say they really hold up. I drive through some rough backroads here in Ohio and my phone stays put.

But then I tried a cheaper option from Amazon and it was a disaster. Kept falling off while I was driving. Honestly I’d say invest in something solid like the RAM or even the ProClip for stability.

You really don’t want your phone flying around while you’re trying to navigate.

I’ve tried a few F150 phone mount balls here in Michigan but the ProFit system has been solid for me. Super easy to install and holds my phone tight even on bumpy roads. I once lost my phone in the truck somewhere and had to dig through everything to find it.

The Latch-It is kinda overrated though. Didn’t fit quite right and was a pain, made my phone wobble like crazy. Just saying, keep an eye out for reviews before jumping in.

Driving down 95 in my F150 I ve tried a few mounts the Arkon ball mount worked decent but wobbles too much for my taste.

the best I’ve found is this magnetic one that just sticks on the dash and holds the phone tight no issues yet
