so, I’ve been hauling heavy stuff with my f150 for a while now. and let me tell you, a good bed mat is like having a buddy to help you out. I’ve tried a few, but the rubber ones are the real MVPs. they grip everything in place and won’t slip, which is important when you’re carrying a fridge or something ridiculous like that.
then there’s the carpet type, which is nice but gets messy real quick. I learned that the hard way after hauling some gravel. ugh, what a nightmare. I guess it depends on what you’re movin, right? do you go for grip or comfort? I say go rubber unless you want to clean all day. also, ever have a mat totally crush under weight? it’s a sad sight.
Last summer I loaded up my F150 with firewood for the winter in Colorado and let me tell you the bed mat made a huge difference. I’ve tried a rubber mat and it’s pretty sturdy but you can’t beat the grip of a textured one.
For heavy loads the weathertech mat is solid. I’ve had luck with it not sliding around too.
I remember hauling stuff in my F150 from Denver to the Rockies I’ve gotta say a good bed mat makes all the difference. Rubber mats stick to the bed well and keep everything from sliding around. Much better than just using plywood.
Ive been hauling heavy stuff in my F150 around Texas and let me tell you a good bed mat is a must. I tried the rubber ones and they hold up pretty well but the carpet mat was a total fail. You need something that grips and keeps that load stable.
Just my two cents.
I ve had my F150 for a couple years now and loaded it up with heavy stuff in Ontario.
I found the WeatherTech mat to be pretty solid. It holds up under pressure and keeps everything from sliding around.
But honestly a rubber mat isn’t bad either if you’re looking for something cheaper. Just make sure it fits snug.
I ve been using a rubber mat from WeatherTech in my F150 and its held up great in the Pacific Northwest. Heavy loads and muddy gear no problem with that mat.
I also tried some cheap options but they just didn’t cut it. Found the right one made all the difference.
I tried a rubber bed mat on my F150 in Texas and it worked great for heavy loads no slipping at all just make sure to clean it often or dirt gets stuck. I’ve also heard good things about carpet mats but not sure they can handle the weight.
I’ve used the WeatherTech bed mat in my F150 for heavy loads and it’s been solid here in Texas. No sliding at all.
I’ve had my F150 for years now and tried a couple of bed mats. The rubber ones are okay but they slip around too much. I found this heavy-duty option at a local shop in Michigan and it’s been great for hauling gravel and tools without sliding everywhere. I really like the extra grip.
In a pinch I used just a tarp once and it was a disaster. Scratches everywhere. Bed mats really do make a difference for heavy loads.
Living in the Pacific Northwest I’ve tested a few bed mats for my F150 when hauling heavy loads. The WeatherTech mat is solid but a bit pricey. I’ve also used the Husky Liners mat which offers great grip and protection. Honestly it all depends on how rough you are with your truck. I’ve even seen some DIY options that surprisingly hold up.
I’ve been using a rubber bed mat here in Texas for years and it holds up great against heavy stuff.
Last summer I had more than 2000 pounds of gravel and it didn’t budge. Solid choice.
I’ve thrown heavy stuff in my F150 here in Michigan with a rubber mat and it’s held up fine. Toughest option for sure.
I have a buddy in Texas who swears by carpet mats though. Not sure how they handle the weight but he loves them.
I ve had my F150 in Alberta for years now and I swear by the WeatherTech bed mat. It grips everything and keeps my cargo from sliding around when I’m hauling stuff.
Sure the price is a bit high but totally worth it when you deal with heavy loads. Durable and easy to clean too.
i’ve been using a rubber mat for my F150 in Texas it holds up well against heavy loads but it does slip a bit on the sides
a friend swears by the liners but I just find em too grippy for my taste
I ve been hauling stuff in my F150 around Toronto and a good bed mat is a must for heavy loads. I found this one that grips everything tight so nothing slides around. It really saved my back when moving furniture last week.
They say rubber mats are bomb for durability but they can be tough to clean. Just my two cents.
I ve tried a couple of bed mats for my F150 and I gotta say the rubber ones hold up nice in Canada’s snowy weather no slipping around
The carpeted ones feel great but when I haul heavy stuff like firewood they just don’t cut it
I’ve loaded my F150 in the backwoods of Oregon and can’t stress how much a good bed mat helps. I’ve tried the rubber ones but the non-slip fabric ones feel way better for carrying heavy stuff. Definitely worth looking into heavier options for lasting grip.
I ve tossed around heavy stuff in my F150 a ton in Texas and I gotta say the WeatherTech mat held up like a champ.
My buddy swears by the Dee Zee one but I’ve never tried it myself.
Gotta love a durable bed.
In Texas I’ve used a rubber bed mat for my F150 works great with heavy loads. Keeps things from sliding around which is a plus.
But I’ve heard some folks rave about the spray-in liners too. Seems like they’re tough but not too much cushion sometimes. Just depends on what you need.
