What are the best cold air intake options for Civic 11th gen?

so, I remember when I first got my 11th gen Civic, I was hyped. Like, it felt like I was driving a spaceship or something. But then I thought, hey, let’s make this baby breathe better. I started looking into cold air intakes ‘cause I heard they could make a diff.

I tried one from K&N and it was pretty solid. You could hear the engine like it was saying “thank you”. But then I switched to a Takeda and man, the sound was insane. Like driving a mini monster truck. Have you tried any of these?

Also, I’m kinda curious if anyone has messed around with the AEM intakes? I’ve heard good things but never had the chance to test it myself. lemme know your thoughts.

I ve been really digging the K&N system for my 11th gen in Cali brings a nice growl and a boost in pick up

But I’ve heard a lot of people say AEM is solid too

So many choices makes it hard to pick just one but it’s all about that sweet sound right

ive heard good things about the K&N for the Civic 11th gen super easy install and sounds sick but i tried another brand and didn’t love it.

here in Seattle the rain messes with intake systems so keep that in mind if you’re going for one.

I’ve been messing around with cold air intakes for my Civic in Toronto and honestly K&N is my jam. I have the 57-1562 kit and it really gives a nice growl.

Though I heard some peeps rave about aFe too.

I think it all comes down to personal preference plus budget.

Whatever you choose make sure it fits well and doesn’t throw off other systems.

I’ve seen some crazy results with K&N for my Civic here in California. It really brings out the engine roar which is kinda fun. Not super loud but a nice touch. Also I’ve heard really good things about Injen too. Just make sure to check the fitment before diving in.

I’ve got a 2022 Civic here in California and I tried a K&N cold air intake. It sounded sick but I’m not sure if I felt a huge power increase.

I heard the AEM ones are pretty good too and my buddy swears by it.

Honestly I’m just in it for the sound but that might be worth it for some. Just gotta watch out for the engine light issues after install.

But take it easy on the budget because some options are just hype.

I’ve tried a few intakes on my Civic 11th gen around here in Toronto and I’ve found the K&N 69 series to be pretty solid. It gives a nice growl but the install was a bit fiddly.

Also the PRL Cobra has been getting some buzz lately for better overall performance. Just gotta weigh the options ya know.

So I got a Civic 11th gen last summer in Chicago and started looking into cold air intakes. I ve tried the K&N and honestly it sounded sweet but didn’t feel much different in power. Then I heard about the PRL setup and man people swear by it. I haven’t tried it yet but it’s on my radar for sure. Guessing there’s always a bit of a mixed bag with these things.

I’ve been rocking a PRL cold air intake on my 11th gen Civic and it’s been a game changer. I live in Seattle and the sound when you hit the gas is pure bliss.

Had a buddy who went with Injen and swears by it too but for me PRL just feels right. Super crisp throttle response and you get that sweet burble.

I ve tried a couple for my 11th gen in Cali and the K&N sounded loud which I loved but the AEM was more subtle I have issues with heat soak tho so idk

I like the more aggressive sound but that heat thing has me worried especially in summer months here its a struggle

I ve been running K&N on my 11th gen Civic for a year now super happy with it. the sound is awesome makes the car feel alive

really consider your local climate though. my buddy went with AEM and loves it too. less maintenance needed in rainy areas.

I ve been eyeing the K&N intake for my Civic love the deeper sound and better throttle response. Down in California where it’s hot I’ve noticed some power gains.

But I’ve heard some people say the drop-in filters work just fine too.
