What are the benefits of a Honda Civic air intake upgrade?
so, last summer I decided to upgrade my Honda Civic’s air intake. man, what a difference it made. I remember cruising down the highway and feeling like I was driving a different car. the sound when I hit the gas? pure magic, like my car was singing a little tune just for me.
one of the biggest perks was better throttle response. I could feel the car just wanting to take off. plus, got a bit more horsepower, enough to make me feel like a race car driver—well, in my mind at least. And honestly, who doesn’t want a cooler ride?
but, does it really help with fuel economy? I think it did a bit. I mean, I was getting better mpg on the highway. so, if you’re thinking of an upgrade, you gotta ask yourself: is it worth it? I’d say yes, just for the fun factor alone.
man I ve had my Honda Civic for like 4 years now and last summer I decided to swap out the stock air intake. Honestly I didnt think it would make that much of a difference but I was totally wrong.
the sound is way more aggressive and I could feel the pickup in power especially on the highway.
plus it just looks sharper under the hood like a total upgrade from the boring factory stuff.
Had a Civic back in Seattle and I ve gotta say upgrading the air intake made a noticeable difference. The engine breathes better and you can feel the extra pep during acceleration. Totally worth it if you want a bit more fun on the road.
I had a Civic in California once and upgrading the air intake kinda felt like giving it a new personality. more power and a sweet sound too
not crazy expensive either so why not try it
I’ve heard a lot about better throttle response from an intake upgrade. Last summer in Toronto I noticed my friend’s Civic just felt more alive.
The sound is way cooler too. Kinda gives me that sporty vibe.
I remember when I got my Civic in Toronto I did the intake upgrade right away and wow the throttle response was so much better.
You can hear the engine roar now and it just feels peppier.
Had my Civic in Ontario with a low-rev growl after an air intake upgrade. I’ve noticed better throttle response and the engine feels more alive. Plus the gas mileage improved a bit. Friends say I’m just chasing sound but who cares it’s fun. Worth it if you like a bit of extra pep.
I ve def upgraded my Civic’s intake and it sounds like a beast now. You really feel the difference on highways.
Fuel efficiency also surprisingly got better which is a plus in these times. Guess I’m saving for more upgrades.
I’ve been driving my Honda Civic around Toronto and decided to do an air intake upgrade. The difference is wild it really helps with acceleration and you can hear that growl too. Totally feels like I’m driving a different car. Just a fun boost for sure.
Ive seen a noticeable boost in my Honda Civic since I did the air intake upgrade last summer in Seattle. More responsive and the sound is just awesome.
Honestly Im loving the extra power but the installation was a bit tricky. Worth it though.
