so ive been havin some issues with my 2014 GMC Acadia, especially with the transmission. it jerks a bit sometimes when i shift into drive. anyone else noticed this? my buddy said it might be the solenoid or something. And i heard some ppl have had to replace the transmission fluid, still not sure if that helps tho.
i called the dealer, and they mentioned something about needing a reprogram. but what should i do if it keeps acting up? does anyone have a good mechanic who knows about Acadias? and yeah it’s a pain when you’re trying to get somewhere on time. gotta keep an eye on it. maybe it just needs more TLC?
I’ve had issues with my 2014 GMC Acadia’s transmission here in Michigan. It’s jerky sometimes, and feels like I’m gonna lose first gear halfway up a hill. Y’all, drives me nuts man. Clearly, it’s a known problem with these vehicles.
I’ve had a 2014 GMC Acadia here in sunny California, and man, the transmission’s a real bully. It hesitates like crazy when shifting gears, especially on the highway. Some folks swap the fluid, but it not always fix it. Everyone’s dealing with it differently – feels like its day at the races!
I’ve got a 2014 GMC Acadia up in Detroit. Wasn’t too long ago before the tranny started acting up—jerking and delayed shifts! Heard lots of folks in Michigan and out in Canada are having the same issue. Get it checked early, seriously can’t avoid the drama if ya skip maintenance!
I’ve been seeing a few 2014 GMC Acadia owners in California with similar transmission issues. Usually, it’s jerky shifts or slipping gears, especially when hot. I heard from a buddy the solenoid could be the thing, but it’s rough when that happens. Any ideas on fixes? Sounds like a sh*tty deal all around.
I’ve got an '14 GMC Acadia out here in Ontario, Canada. Had to deal with some real annoying transmission slips, especially in colder months—almost scared my daughter half to death one morning. I’ve heard others mention weird shifting patterns too, particularly after hitting that 30k mile mark. Definitely something to keep an eye on—and maybe have the tranny fluid checked ahead of time. Trust me, save yourself a headache later on.
Had a few issues with my 2014 GMC Acadia in Wisconsin—clutch was slipping like crazy. Friends in Toronto say the transmission jerks if you’re not careful starting from a stop. It’s a bummer, but dealerships are pretty helpful sorting it out. Seems like a common gripe, but nothing too overpowering if you catch the signs early.
I’ve got a 2014 GMC Acadia in Chicago, and transmission weirds out, especially during cold mornings. Crazy grinding gears at times, had to get it fixed more than once. Must be common, as my cousin in Toronto mentioned similar issues too. So annoying!
In Seattle, I’ve noticed a few 2014 GMC Acadia owners grumbling about the transmission randomly shifting between gears. It’s pretty frustrating, especially on the highway. My buddy’s had to get it checked a few times, and it seemed like a software update fixed it? Not sure if it’s a universal fix. Anyone else experienced this? Feel free to share your fixes or workarounds!
In Chicago, my 2014 GMC Acadia started having tranny issues around 80K miles. The clutch master cylinder gave up, and the shift felt like driving a manual without a clutch. Nope, not cool. Other folks here say the same thing. Could have been better maintained, to be honest.
I’ve been dealing with a 2014 GMC Acadia in Toronto, and the transmission’s been a real headache. It keeps shifting rough, especially when accelerating. My buddy had the same problem and just replaced it—his ride’s smooth now. Had friends warning me too about this being a common glitch. Maybe I oughta check mine out sooner than later, man!
I’ve been havin’ some trouble with my ‘14 GMC Acadia down in Texas. Started feelin’ the shudder when upshiftin’, like it’s havin’ a mind of its own. Guy at the shop mentioned somethin’ ‘bout transmission fluid burnin’ or maybe the solenoids actin’ up. If it ain’t that, it’s the torque converter. Frustratin’, but there’s a bunch of us out here dealin’ with this too. Hope it’s sorted soon!
I’ve got a 2014 GMC Acadia here in Denver, and I’ve noticed some weird tranny issues. One day it just wouldn’t engage first gear - I’m talkin’ no shift at all! Friends in Toronto tell me torque converter slips are also a big problem. I mean, should I be stressin’ over it or what? Gawd, just gotta hope for the best.
I’ve got a 2014 GMC Acadia up here in Canada, and man, the shifter’s been acting up. Like, it feels super wonky at times. I’ve tried synchro fluid too, not much help. Anyone else dealt with this? It’s not as smooth as it used to be, making me kinda paranoid every drive.
