What are common issues with the Honda Accord Coupe 2006?

So I’ve had my fair share with my '06 Honda Accord Coupe. Engine light’s like that annoying friend who always shows up at the wrong time. Had it come on a few times, needs a tune-up usually. Suspension issues too, it just started feeling rougher than a bad shave after a few years. And the electrical system is a headache sometimes—might just be me or is the radio doing its own thing?

Brakes are another story. Suddenly felt a bit mushy once. Had to get them checked, turned out the pads were suspect. But the steering has been smooth, not much trouble there—been lucky i guess?

How about you? Ever found something weird with your car? And don’t get me started on those weird noises sometimes. Could headphones in the backseat be the real culprit?

Man, mine started making this weird knocking sound at the back. I live in SoCal, and it was drivin’ me nuts. Apparently, it’s super common with the 2006 Coupe around here. The roof also gets all leaky after rain. I’ve had to patch it a few times. Hope y’all aren’t havin’ the same probs!

I had this issue with my '06 Honda Accord Coupe here in Texas. Oil leaks like crazy, and the AC’s a real headache. Had to replace the compressor twice! Anyone else dealing with the AC ghosts? Used to love it, but these gremlins are a pain. :unamused:

I’ve owned a 2006 Honda Accord Coupe here in Canada for a bit now. The head gasket repairs turned out to be costly and my buddy’s air conditioning went kaput in the middle of a summer heatwave. Interior lights are a real pain too, flicking on and off for no reason! But, it’s still a solid ride despite these snags.

I’ve had a 2006 Honda Accord Coupe in Texas, and while it’s generally solid, it’s had a few hiccups. The transmission has been a bit stubborn at times, and that infamous coolant leak seems to be an issue for many folks. Still, it’s been a reliable ride for me overall. Good luck if you snag one!

I’ve got a 2006 Honda Accord Coupe up in Ontari’. Battery acts up often, knocks when accelerat’n, and AC gives out too quick. Dealer visits were a chore, but still solid car. Anyone else?

I lived in Canada and had problems with my '06 Accord Coupe. Transmission was jerky and the ABS light kept flashing. Some issues with the engine draining oil too fast. Riding along, it was like playing roulette if those repairs worked. Always double-check the recalls online!

I’ve owned a 2006 Honda Accord Coupe here in Toronto, and it’s been a mixed bag. Great car overall, but the suspension’s a bit wonky—feels jumpy on uneven roads. Also, the AC kicked the bucket last summer; took ages to get it fixed. Battery’s been another headache, needing a swap sooner than expected. The engine though is bang on! Some issues, but nothing too horrific. All in all, a decent ride!

I have a '06 Accord Coupe here in Ontario, and man, those AC units can be wonky—fans running but no cool air. Engine struggles around 60,000 miles too. Ave spent a bunch fixing a stuck throttle body. It’s a solid ride but, ya know, always gotta eye it. Still zips around pretty good though, hah!

I’ve had a 2006 Honda Accord Coupe up in Toronto and let me tell ya, the transmission was a headache. I’ve had several instances of it slipping, especially between gears. Walnut-oil shift boots are a must-do fix for that. Also, I’ve noticed the engine light flickering on now and then. Seems like common issues everyone talks about here in Canada. Had to deal with a few other electrical quirks, too. Hopefully, yours is smoother sailing!

I’ve got a Honda Accord Coupe 2006 here in Ontario and I’ve seen my fair share of issues. Transmission glitches can be a real pain – it shifts like molasses. Around the same time, the exhaust sound’s gone all weird too; felt like a muffler drama! But, it’s still a rideable beast when the engine purrs right!

I’ve got a 06 Honda Accord Coupe in Cali, and SIH (that’s “Sweat-inducing Heat”) with the AC acting up is common. I’ve heard folks mentioning transmission slips after 100k. Engine light’s a frequent guest too. You’ve gotta keep up with maintenance to avoid headaches! Myself, I stick to Honda techs at least.

I’ve had my hands on a 2006 Honda Accord Coupe up here in Canada and boy, those side mirrors can be a pain—they just keep falling off! Also, I’ve noticed some of the power steering issues; makes it tougher to drive smoothly, especially in winter. Anyone else experiencing battery gremlins? I’ve had a few myself! Let’s get these sorted, folks.

I’ve had a '06 Accord Coupe upstate NY and ran into a few issues. The sunroof leaks like crazy if ya don’t keep it closed in the rain, and theelectronics can be glitchy—blasting AC out of nowhere! But the seats are comfy as heck, so I tolerated the quirks. Anyone else with similar vibes or fixes they found? It’s a solid car when it doesn’t decide to throw a fit.

Living in Toronto, I’ve had my share of DJing with the 2006 Honda Accord Coupe. Engine noise seemed louder than my old cassette player, and the struts were tossing around like my laundry in the dryer. But man, the ride was smooth sometimes, like butter. Power outages, though… patience over a bowl of Frito-lay-pops really is a virtue.

I once owned a '06 Accrd Coupe in Ohio. Jumper cables were a frequent friend. Turbine whine was wild but loved its build. Road noise was annoying tho, especially on highways. Reliable overall, won a few parking spots just being there!

Back in 2006 in Toronto, I bought a Honda Accord Coupe not knowing ‘bout the transmission. Hadn’t been long before it started acting up, grinding gears. Heard others had similar headaches, mainly shifting issues. Still a solid ride, but watch out for that tranny glitch. Had to jiggle a few things myself to keep haulin’ around.

I’ve owned a 2006 Honda Accord Coupe here in Toronto, and let me tell yah, the transmission can be a real pain. It jerks sometimes, especially while shifting from park to drive - super annoying! My buddy’s Accord Coupe in Cali had headlight issues too, like all the bulbs dying way too fast. But smooth ride overall, you know? Still love that sleek design tho!
