What are common issues with the 2017 Lexus ES 350?

so i got the 2017 Lexus ES 350 last year and yup there are a few things to look out for. first, i noticed the brake light issue a few times. randomly it be coming on even when i didn’t brake. weird right? another thing is the leather seats getting some cracks especially if you live in a hot place. it sucks but i’ve been dealing with that. and the touchscreen, man, it can be slow sometimes like its thinking too much. anybody else have this? heard about transmission quirks? what about you folks? i know someone said the car gets a bit thirsty at times. isn’t that something? also did anyone have problems with their car not starting in the morning? mine did a couple of times. and one time i was driving and my window winder just stopped. any tips for that? let me know what you’ve got. thanks!

I’ve owned a 2017 Lexus ES 350 right here in Canada, and while it’s mostly solid, I’ve noticed a few quirks. The infotainment system can be glitchy, often freezing and needing a reset. Also, check the exhaust for rust; mine started showing wear faster than I expected. Overall, it’s a smooth ride, but keep an eye out for these issues to avoid any nasty surprises!

I’ve owned a 2017 Lexus ES 350 in Chicago, and I’ve noticed the infotainment system can be a real pain to use, especially when it freezes unexpectedly. The engine sometimes sounds like it wants to rev up even when cruising; pretty annoying, right? It’s a reliable ride overall, but I’ve heard others mention about electronic faults now and then. Still, the car drives solid, but those glitches can be a hassle. Do you have any tips to deal with 'em?

I’ve driven a 2017 Lexus ES 350 in Canada & had probs with the AC & radio acting up. Friends told me, leather interior wears fast, but it’s smooth. Cruiser, for sure! Enjoyed the ride but kept watch for issues, driving smootly.

I’ve had a 2017 Lexus ES 350 in Denver for a few years now, and there have been some issues. One common problem seems to be the infotainment system freezing up unpredictably—it’s super annoying. Also, quite a few owners mention the starter relay acting up. It’s a shame as the ride’s super smooth otherwise! Heard folks talk about issues with the water pump too, gotta watch out for that. Know any good mechanics?

In Seattle, I ve had my fair share of issues with my 2017 Lexus ES 350. The touchscreen sometimes just doesn’t respond, which is annoying when trying to navigate on the fly. Also, the automatic transmission’s shift feels a bit abrupt at times. But overall, it’s smooth cruising during those long rides to the mountains, despite these little hiccups! Other than that no biggie

I’ve owned the 2017 Lexus ES 350 in Cali, and it’s been a mixed bag. Transmission quirks drive me nuts, but that sweet ride luxury keeps me loyal. Heard battery and infotainment glitches from others too. Can’t believe something so fancy has so many bugs!

I’ve been parked in OC with my 2017 Lexus ES 350 for a bit, and man, it’s been a bit of a ride. Noticed some issues with the suspension acting up, especially after hitting rough roads—feels like a rollercoaster ride sometimes! Also, those fuel gauges ain’t always trustworthy—they drop off without warning. But, gotta admit, that ride is smooth, more than makes up for it. Power steering went funky too, but it’s mostly good stuff, y’know?

I had a 2017 Lexus ES 350 up north in Canada and found the infotainment system to be kinda glitchy. Battery issues too, often light flickered randomly. But hey, peeps say it rides smooth - worth the quirks!

I’ve noticed a few things with my 2017 Lexus ES 350 in Toronto. The cabin air filter tends to get clogged faster than expected, needing swaps every few months. Also, a buddy in LA mentioned their AC wasn’t keeping up in summer. Not huge, but something to keep in mind if you’re snagging one second-hand. Other than that, it’s been pretty solid for my daily drive. Anyone else had similar quirks?

I’ve got a 2017 Lexus ES 350 here in Toronto and it’s been solid mostly, but I’ve had my fair share of drama too. Some folks been having issues with the AC not kicking in right. Also, I had a hassle with the power mirrors acting funky, takes like three tries to adjust them. And don’t even get me started on the Bluetooth connection drop-outs – super annoying when you’re trying to catch a tune on the highway!

i hav a 2017 Lexus ES 350 here in Chicago, and like everyone says, the transmission is a headscratcher. Mine hesitates a lil when shifting gears and the interior lights get stubborn – keeps flickering. Honestly, it’s a smooth ride otherwise, but those quirks can be a pain. Seems like folks up north in Canada mention the same issues, y’know? Hang in there, fam!

I’ve got a 2017 Lexus ES 350 here in Canada, and honestly, fuel economy’s no prize—it guzzles more than I expected. Had some headaches with electronics too, dashboard lights straying! Brakes felt spongy at first; thought it was me, ended up needing a fix-quick. Other peeps on forums also mention the transmission shifting can be jerky. Not a lemon, but some quirks to manage. Would you say otherwise?
