What are common issues with the 2017 Kia Sportage FE model?

so guess i gotta share my exp with the 2017 Kia Sportage FE. first thing, the AC was acting up—sometimes it just won’t blow cold air. it’s like it decides to take a break, you know? changed the filter twice but nada, still warm air. anyone else face this?

By the way, battery died twice in a month. it’s weird becuz it’s not old. any ideas to fix? i charged it like crazy, but no good. and, the engine light pops up now n then, but it goes away after a while. is this normal or should i worry?

Also had some trouble getting the radio to work. turns on sometimes, then just stops. and the Bluetooth, once it works, other times it won’t connect at all. Anyone know how to fix this bluetooth stuff? i’m starting to think maybe i need to get a tech to look at it.

anyone else with similar probs? how y’all handling it

Driving my 2017 Kia Sportage FE in Canada, noticed some common issues. First, the EV battery drains faster, especially in cold weather. I’ve had problems with the cabin air filter getting clogged quick, too. Also, some folks mentioned glitches in the infotainment system freezing up once or twice. But the ride is smooth overall! Anyone else deal with these?

I’ve got a 2017 Kia Sportage FE here in Toronto, and let me tell ya, battery issues are a big pain. Keeps dying on me, even with minimal use. Plus, the transmission feels like it has a mind of its own. Service visits are more frequent than I’d like, but it’s still a solid ride overall. Anyone else had similar probs?

I’ve got a 2017 Kia Sportage FE up in Canada, and man, the transmission acts up sometimes, especially when switching gears on highways. Some peeps said the fuel economy’s not stellar either, but all in all, it’s been pretty solid. I’ve heard others have had prob with the infotainment glitchy at times, but nothing major. Keep complaining, drivers!

Got a 2017 Kia Sportage FE here in Canada. Got a few issues: stuttering CVT after like a couple years, parking sensor playing buzz kill sometimes. But hey, it’s fine for the price! Decent fuel economy, ear candy in the cab though. Anyone else dealing with these quirks? Share ur stories!

So I’ve got this buddy with a 2017 Kia Sportage FE in Canada, right? Thought it was a steal but got burned by the crappy towing capacity and wandering GPS. Plus, he’s always cursing the lousy fuel efficiency. My, oh my, it’s been a bumpy ride for him, that’s for sure!

In Dallas, my buddy had that 2017 Kia Sportage FE, and the transmission acted all wonky. Thought it was just the terribles traffic, but nah, station got stuck a bunch. Friends here say same thing, rusting wheel wells too. Talk about a bummer! :unamused: Always a headache man!

I’ve been driving my 2017 Kia Sportage FE in Toronto and the cruise control’s a mess—it just goes nuts! Audio acts up too; sometimes it’s ghosting me out of nowhere. Plus, the A/C soaks the seats wet—it’s crazy! But the ride’s comfy though!

I’ve noticed a few quirks with my 2017 Kia Sportage FE here in Canada. Weird noise from the engine sometimes and a bit finicky AC. Friends had brake issues but overall it’s been a solid ride. Had some hiccups but love it!

I’ve had some issues with my 2017 Kia Sportage FE—ticked me off for sure. In sunny CA, I dealt with engine stalling when I was trying to park. Plus, the Geo Tracker’s window switch blew out during a trip to Banff, Canada! Friend of mine mentioned they have problems with the infotainment system; it just doesn’t wanna boot up sometimes. Honestly, a few quirks, but overall solid car.

I’ve been driving a 2017 Kia Sportage FE in Toronto for a couple years now, and it’s had its ups and downs. Battery seems to go kaput quick – charged every month. Plus, had issues with the transmission acting up, like it hesitates between shifts. Other drivers have mentioned similar probs, so it’s definitely a thing. Still love its style tho, just have to keep an eye on these fixes!

I’ve noticed a couple of issues with my 2017 Kia Sportage FE up here in Canada. Had issues with the Bluetooth connectivity – it was hit or miss at best. Also, the gasoline range could be better; I’m constantly filling up more than expected. Overall decent ride, but some quirks can be annoying if you’re not prepared for them!

I’ve got this 2017 Kia Sportage FE in Texas, and the A/C’s been a nightmare. Soo dang hot here! Infotainment gets wonky sometimes too. Heard the same from a buddy in Canada. Just hoping for a fix soon!

I’ve had a 2017 Kia Sportage FE myself over here in Canada. Solid car but man, the infotainment system lags big time. Also, I’ve noticed the AC blows weak air after a while. Ah, and door panels — mine started coming off too! It’s a champ on the road, though. Anyone else with the same quirks?

I’ve owned a 2017 Kia Sportage FE up here in Canada and had a few issues. The CVT transmission can drive you nuts, always feels like it’s slipping. The infotainment system’s slow, too. Nav sucks, Google Maps way better. Had some minor electrical glitches, too. But fuel efficiency’s legit, and the ride’s pretty smooth. Overall decent but a few bugs.
