so i was chatting with this dude who owns a 2008 subaru forester and he was like, the biggest headache is the transmission issues. he said the car shifts super rough sometimes. and i heard another story about the engine light coming on for no reason, which is a major pain.
and then theres the head gasket trouble, apparently some cars have these leaks, so yours might not be exempt, may be? anyone else hear of this? my friend once had to get that fixed, said it cost a pretty penny.
but you know, head gasket issues might not happen to everyone. another thing is the check engine light that comes on and off all the time, he told me. its annoying as hell.
and dont forget, the suspension can start making funny noises after a while, no idea why that happens tho. anyone avoid these probs? or like i already said, it just happens? idk. have you guys had any bad experiences with foresters?
