so ive had my 2007 acura rdx for a bit, yeah. like everyone says, the transmission can be a pain, mine started acting up around 80k miles. it would hesitate when shifting, especially from park to drive. took it in, they said i needed a new transmission cooler line. and also, the navigation system can be pretty outdated. i had to replace the gps map disc once, driver side dashboard felt loose too, had to get it fixed.
the brakes are fine but the sensor thingy sometimes gives a warning light for no reason. has this happened to anyone else? did you fix it easily?
felt like the air conditioning acted up too, it would not blow cold air sometimes. had the compressor checked and said it was fine, still happens. anyone else noticing this? oh, and the headlights alignment gets all wonky now and then, had to adjust them again recently. did this happen to yall too?
I’ve had a 2007 Acura RDX up in Canada, man. The engine light issue was nuts, kept popping on for no reason. Also, those automatic windows can be stubborn, took forever to fix. Suspension started making clunk noises after a while, another annoyance worth mentioning. Tried some DIY repairs but figured better leave it to the pros!
Had an '07 Acura RDX up here in Canada — fine car but don’t get suckered in by the electrics. AC didact (messed up) thrice. Great when it works, but these quirks? Can be a real pain. V8 engine purrs though!
I’ve got an '07 Acura RDX up in Maine, and it’s been a mixed bag. AC blows hot at random and the electrics act all wonky sometimes. Anyone else got the same gremlins? Would help with DIY fixes in this rust bucket. #TechIssues
I’ve had an 07’ Acura RDX here in Toronto, and man, notorious for the AC compressor issues—it almost cost me an arm and a leg. Also, the CVT’s been a pain, slipping like crazy. Anybody else had their dash light up like a Christmas tree? It’s a head-scratcher!
I’ve had my '07 Acura RDX in Colorado and engine issues are a headache. Trans slips sometimes, which is super annoying. Battery trouble too. But it’s a solid ride otherwise, folks!
I’ve driven a 2007 Acura RDX in Canada and man, it had a sketchy transmission. Also had trouble with the infotainment system — always glitching out. Good car when straight, but fixes needed
.
I’ve noticed several common issues with the 2007 Acura RDX living up north in Canada. Electrical glitches, especially with the dashboard, annoy me! Also, A/C performance drops significantly over time. Dealer fixes help but been there, done that a few too many times! A bit fussy but solid car otherwise.
I’ve been driving my '07 Acura RDX in Texas for years and I’ve noticed a few things. The transmission acts up, especially in heat, and some say the AC blows warm. My friend in Ontario said the brakes sputter too. Maybe the RDDefine Classic Recalls were a hint! Stay alert on maintenance with these rides.
When I got my hands on my 2007 Acura RDX in Canada, I noticed a few things. Fuel pump failures were a beast – I had to deal with it twice! Suspension noises and the transmission acting up – it’s like the car’s on a wild ride! Plus, the 2.3-liter engine can get weird. Anyone else hit these snags? Let’s swap stories and try to figure these out together.
I’ve had buddies in Toronto deal with the 2007 Acura RDX’s transmission bugs. They said it’s a real pain, major problems shifting gears, especially in cold weather. Also, one lotta complaints bout the electronics actin’ up. My cousin in Florida had his battery drain too quick. Seems like a bummer for a luxury ride, amirite?
I’ve got an '07 Acura Rdx in Florida, and man, those transmission issues are nuts. Had to get it replaced twice at this point. Steering feels sketchy too, like it’s gonna snap off any moment! Just watch those warning lights. Real bummer but I love the ride other than that!
I’ve got a ‘07 Acura RDX here in Toronto, and it’s been a wild ride. Had to replace the transmission twice—total mofo nightmare. Took it for a drive last week, and it just stalled out. Almost crashed, man. Coulda used a new battery too. But hey, it’s a reliable ol’ beasty when she’s in the mood.
I’ve owned a 2007 Acura RDX in the Midwest US and had a few hiccups. The infotainment system often bugged out, needing a reset. Also, some folks here mention transmission sputters when cold. It’s pretty solid otherwise but keeping in mind those quirks can save a headache. I’ve heard similar laments from Canadian buddies too. All parts ‘n peace drivein’ mainly!
Back in '09, I had an '07 Acura RDX in Seattle. AC issues are nuts - it never kicks right on. Also, had to replace the EGR valve a couple times, drove me nuts! Still, it’s a smooth ride when all’s fixed up. Dunno what everyone else thinks tho.
I’ve had my share with the 2007 Acura RDX up here in Canada. The transmission sometimes feels like it’s got a mind of its own, shifting like it just learned from an old-school drag racer. Also, noticed some headlight issues – kinda flickers like it’s getting ready to disco. Man, those things can get a bit finicky, but it still drives smooth when it wants to. Anyone else with similar crazy tales?
Living in Chicago, I’ve seen a lot of 2007 Acura RDX issues, like transmission glitches and weird electrical problems. It seems like a few people’s in the USA face similar snags, making it a kind of Urban Legend among car fans! Definitely has some quirks but quite a ride when it’s smooth!
I’ve got a 2007 Acura RDX up in the Pacific Northwest, and it’s got its quirks. My power steering acts up during drives, especially after it’s been parked for a bit. Oil consumption is another thing; it’s like it can’t stop guzzling. Never had any major issues yet, but the maintenance costs can be a pain in the rear. Just another day with my old RDX!
Back in '09 in Toronto, I had fu**n issues w/ my '07 RDX. Electrical gremlins! Battery life sucked, headlights went out like they on fumes. Had to baby it a lot, but the ride was smooth!
I’ve had a 2007 Acura RDX in Canada and OMG, the transmission issues are a real pain. Shifts get all clunky outta nowhere. Noticed lots of others on forums yapping bout the A/C giving up too. Not fun during summer drives, but it’s still a great ride!
