I’ve had my share of headaches with my 2000 Chevy Express van here in Ontario. Garage troubles are a constant headache, especially with the transmission. I heard engine misfires are common too. And guess what? The steering rack is a nightmare; it’s like an all-you-can-break buffet. Takes just as much work to fix it as it does to keep it on the road. Guess you get what you pay for, eh? Haha.
I’ve got a 2000 Chevy Express van, and man, the A/C always gives me grief, especially in FL! Plus, the engine light pops on like clockwork. Battery issues? Been there! One mechanic just replaced the belt, but it wasn’t over yet. Talked to my buddy, Rusty, in Ontario, and his van’s transmission’s been a nightmare lately. Tires don’t last either! Seriously, wear and tear keeps me busy, but it runs alright.
I’ve had a 2000 Chevy Express here in Toronto for a few years now. The transmission’s been a real pain, always slipping or grinding when I shift. Then there’s the electrical gremlins—especially with the heat control. ABS light flares up like a Christmas tree. Friends say it’s common. Also, got to baby the brakes—they fade out quick. Overall, needs lots of TLC but still runs. Lot of love and patience required!
I’ve had an ‘00 Chevy Express here in sunny California, and boy do I get riled up by those leaky AC units—like every summer. Engine trouble is a regular ol’ headache too. Anyone else face these nuisances? What fixes you found? ![]()
I’ve got a 2000 Chevy Express in LA, and man, it’s seen better days. I’ve had the usual: ignition issues and the transmission’s a beast sometimes. The electrical system is like a mystery box—wires going kaput without warning. And don’t get me started on the brakes—had to replace them twice this past year. Fellow Express owners, you know it’s a love-hate relationship with this classic!
