I’ve owned a '85 Accord in Toronto and burnt oil like no tomorrow. Timing belt always a pain to fix. Rear shocks giving me trouble often, but once you fix 'em, or try and they live a while longer!
Back in '95, I had an '85 Accord in Toronto. The A/C was bust, and the electrical system was a nightmare—like, lotsa quirks! But man, that engine was solid. Great for a budget fixer-upper, if you dig working on classics.
I’ve got a '85 Accord I bought back in '92 right here in Texas. First thing, you gotta check the electrical wiring; mine was fried more times than I can count, thanks to all the aftermarket stereo shops here. Those rust spots creep up fast, especially in humid areas. But, engine shake is another beast. Ain’t much they don’t do for breaking in, cost me a fortune twice. But man, those seats are comfy as all hell once you settle in!
I’ve had a '85 Accord in Canada, and let me tell ya, the electrical system’s finicky! Battery and starter issues pop up a lot; got mine replaced twice. Engine’s solid, but watch those hoses, they crack over time. Still, love that vintage vibe – worth the quirks if you ask me!
I’ve owned a '85 Accord in Cali and swear the MPG sucked! Elec issues too! Been there, hated that—those old Hondas had quirks but the road trips were worth it. Haha.
