What are common issues faced by Toyota Highlander users?

I’ve got a 2015 Highlander in Canada, & I know a few things. The MPG can be a real letdown, especially on long trips. Plus, the console electronics often get touchy, making me wanna smack 'em! My mate in the USA says the ride’s smoother now, but he still gripes about the trunk space. Honestly, it’s a great ride, but expect some quirks! Anyone else drive the beast or just the issues?

I’ve got a 2015 Highlander here in Texas, and man, those A/C issues can be a pain—freezing up in the summer! Friends up north tell me rust’s a biggie too. Anyone else dealing with that dreaded third-row seats pull-out broken latch? Ugh, frustrating! But hey, it’s still a solid SUV!

I’ve had my Toyota Highlander for 3 years in Toronto, and lately, I’m seeing weird noises when taking corners. Seems like a bearing issue? Read that some folks mention their brakes squeal too at times. Crazy stuff, but we Highlander owners stick together!

I’ve got a ‘12 Highlander, parked outside my place in Texas. Noticed some weird noises outta the steering. Oil change on schedule tho. Battery’s been a pain in the rear too! Felt like I’d tackled a doozy once it died. Lot’sa us folks hear of high MPG, sometimes at the cost o’ fiddly bits. Guess it’s all part of the ride, eh?

I’ve been driving my Toyota Highlander here in Toronto for a couple years now, and it’s mostly been smooth riding. However, I’ve noticed some weird dashboard warning lights flickering, typical Highlander dramas around the 80k mark. Also, the gas mileage isn’t as great as I hoped, especially compared to my buddy’s Honda in Montreal. But despite that, the family room vibe in the back is unbeatable—definitely worth hanging in there with it.
