trucontact tour 2009 rav4 performance reviews from owners?
so, I remember when I got my 2009 RAV4, thought I was getting the best deal ever. took it on a road trip to the mountains and man, it handled those twisty roads like a champ. but the gas mileage? let’s just say it guzzled more than my buddy when we hit the bar after.
I was also surprised how much stuff I could fit inside. like, I could almost live in there if I had to. does anyone else use their RAV4 for giant grocery runs?
but then there’s the whole thing with the power. sometimes it feels like it’s dragging up hills. like, c’mon, give me a little push here! anyone ever feel that way or is it just me?
I ve driven a 2009 RAV4 with Trucontact tires all through the Rocky Mountains and they grip like glue
Feels stable even on those winding roads can’t believe how well it holds up
drove my 09 RAV4 on a road trip through the Rockies last summer and it was pretty solid. I ve had some issues with the transmission feeling quirky but overall it handles really well on those winding mountain roads.
I love the space inside too it fits all my gear for camping with no problem.
I’ve had my 2009 RAV4 since I got it in Canada and it’s been super reliable. The Trucontact tires though were a mixed bag.
I’ve felt the grip was decent but in snow not so much. Overall still would recommend the RAV4.
I ve had my 2009 RAV4 for a while now and honestly it’s been decent but the performance in snowy conditions up in Canada can be a bit sketchy sometimes. It handles okay but I find myself slipping more than I’d like.
On the flipside the interior space is super roomy for road trips and it s got pretty good gas mileage which I appreciate. Can t beat that reliability though.
I had a 2009 RAV4 for a while near Toronto and it was pretty decent off-road but on the highway it felt kinda sluggish at times.
I’ve heard mixed reviews but overall I liked the reliability.
I remember driving my buddy’s 09 RAV4 in the snow up in Vermont the thing handled like a champ. I’ve gotta admit the traction was solid and it felt really stable on those icy roads.
But then on the highway it just felt a bit sluggish you know like it could use more power especially when merging. Still it’s a reliable ride for everyday stuff I’d say.
I ve had my 2009 RAV4 for a while now in Canada and honestly its been solid for road trips.
Trucontact tires made it grip better on icy roads last winter.
I love the space but the engine could be peppier sometimes.
Honestly I ve loved my 2009 Rav4 in California great mileage but sometimes it feels a bit sluggish on the highway. Overall solid choice for me.
I ve had my 2009 RAV4 for about 5 years now in Oregon and honestly its been a mixed bag. On one hand its super reliable with great fuel efficiency. On the other hand I wish it had better acceleration especially when merging onto the freeway.
Overall it gets me where I need to go but I just wish for a bit more pep sometimes.
I ve driven my 2009 Rav4 with Trucontact tires through the Rocky Mountains and its been a smooth ride for the most part. Handling is great especially in wet conditions.
I have read some complaints about fuel economy but mine isn’t too bad. Overall its been pretty reliable I trust it for road trips.
Feels cozy inside too just saying.
I have a 2009 Rav4 and took it on a trip across the Rockies last summer. It handled the mountain roads pretty well honestly.
Sometimes I feel like the acceleration is a bit sluggish but I’ve gotten used to it. Overall its been a solid ride for me.
I’ve driven my 2009 RAV4 on snowy roads in Minnesota and it was surprisingly stable. Handling was better than expected.
My buddy has one too but he thinks the performance is meh especially uphill. I’ve noticed it could use a bit more power sometimes but for daily commutes it’s been solid.
Not much of a gas guzzler either. Overall a good mix of comfort and practicality for me.
I remember driving my 2009 RAV4 through the winding roads of the Pacific Northwest and feeling how it hugged the curves.
I’ve had it for over a decade now and it still runs great. But I’ve noticed it can be a bit sluggish on steep hills.
Overall it’s a solid family car but don’t expect sports car vibes.
The cargo space is a lifesaver for camping trips though.
I’ve had my 2009 RAV4 since it was brand new in Florida. Throttle response is pretty decent but uphill driving feels like a turtle race sometimes. I’ve definitely enjoyed the spaciousness for road trips though. Overall a solid ride for everyday needs just not for speed.
I remember getting stuck in traffic on I-95 and the AC held up great which is a major plus in the heat.
