Is there a fix for Honda Civic USB port not stable issues?

so like, a couple weeks ago, I’m driving my 2019 Civic, jamming to my favorite tunes when suddenly, my phone starts glitching out. The USB port just couldn’t keep it together, man. One minute it’s charging, next it’s like “nah, I’m good.” Talk about frustrating, right?

I did some digging online and found out a lot of people are having the same problem. But why is this happening? Is it just a Honda thing or am I just unlucky? I tried using different cables, but it didn’t help much. It’s almost like my car is playing hard to get.

Anyone else dealt with this? I can’t be the only one going crazy over a simple USB issue. Would love to hear some fixes or tips if you got ‘em. Seriously, it’s like I need to bribe my Civic to keep it stable.

man I ve been dealing with this issue in my 2020 Civic for months now its super annoying especially driving in chilly Chicago winters when I need my music working right

I wish Honda offered a recall for this USB problem

Ive had issues with my Honda Civic USB port too here in Canada. It keeps disconnecting my music mid-drive which is super annoying. I’ve tried different cables and even cleaning the port but nothing seems to work. It’s like the car has a mind of its own. Sometimes I just end up using Bluetooth but it ain’t the same. Wish there was a real fix for this problem.

I heard others talk about cleaning the port or using a different cable but who knows if that really works. Its kinda frustrating when you just want to listen to your playlist.

I’ve had the same issue with my Civic in Toronto. It just disconnects out of nowhere during a road trip. Sometimes I think it might be the cable but then it works fine with other devices. Super annoying though.

I think it might just be a common issue with these cars though. A friend of mine mentioned using a quality cable helped a bit for them. So I tried that but still have the same problem sometimes it just disconnects for no reason.
