so, I was driving my RAV4 in the rain the other day, and I heard this weird water sloshing sound when I opened the door. At first, I freaked out, thinkin’ I had some kind of leak or something. I mean, who wants a wet car interior, right?
But then I remembered, my buddy had the same issue last year. He said it’s just water collecting in the door panel, which is normal. I laughed and thought, great, now my car sounds like a water park ride. Has anyone else heard this noise?
And honestly, it feels like a mini water feature every time I get in. I wonder if it’s a thing with RAV4s or just mine acting all quirky. Do you think I should be worried?
I noticed the same thing with my Rav4 last summer in Seattle the water sound from the door feels kinda normal honestly
I’ve learned to just embrace it as part of the charm rainy days and all
yeah had the same thing in my RAV4 up in Vancouver saw it rain and then heard that sloshing sound from the door I thought something was wrong but turns out it’s just the way these cars are built I’ve learned to ignore it now
I remember the first time it happened I freaked out but now it kind of feels normal the rain just sits in there a bit not much you can do about it
I’ve had my RAV4 for a couple years now living in Oregon and yeah I noticed that water sound too during the rains. It kinda freaked me out at first but I think its just the moisture collecting in the doors. I’m pretty sure its normal though since everyone seems to hear it. Just adds to the charm of driving in the wet season.
I live in Seattle and I’ve noticed my RAV4 makes this funny water sound every time it rains. At first I thought something was wrong but turns out it’s just water collecting in the door seals or something. I’ve gotten used to it now. My friend says it happens to her too in Vancouver where it rains nonstop. I guess it’s just a part of having a Toyota in a rainy city.
I’ve noticed this too in my RAV4 during those rainy days in Toronto. At first it freaked me out but I asked a friend who works in auto repair and he said it’s pretty common. I guess it’s just the water sloshing around in the doors. Makes sense right
It’s kind of comforting in a way like a little rain melody while driving. I’d rather that than random weird noises from somewhere else in the car honestly
I’ve driven my RAV4 through rain in Oregon and noticed that water sound too. Seems normal to me though. No worries.
drove through a storm in Oregon last week and noticed my RAV4 making that water sloshing sound when I opened the door
I thought something was wrong but turns out its kinda common with these models
Just a little annoyance I guess as long as everything works fine
ive got a 2020 RAV4 and I noticed that water sound too when it rains here in Michigan. I thought something was wrong at first but then realized it’s kinda normal. Looks like the design lets water flow off and settle.
I mean if you’re driving through a storm it’s hard to avoid splashes too.
I have a RAV4 and it does the same thing when it rains here in Seattle. I thought I was just imagining it at first but then talked to some friends who drive the same car. They said the sound is totally normal like the water just getting trapped in the seals or something.
Honestly it bugs me a bit but I guess its just part of owning a RAV4.
I ve noticed that sound too when it rains in Ontario. My RAV4 makes this weird sloshy noise like it’s a little water park. Totally thought I messed something up at first.
I’ve noticed this too living in Toronto. Every time it rains I hear that sloshy sound from my RAV4 door. Its kinda eerie honestly but it seems normal.
I’ve driven my RAV4 through some heavy rain up here in Oregon and the water sound from the doors didn’t seem weird to me. I thought it was just a part of how the seals work.
Seems normal enough when it pours like that. Just a little splash.
I’ve noticed that sound too when it rains here in Seattle. It’s like a mini ocean wave crashing every time I shut the door.
I mean it feels kinda odd but my mechanic said its pretty normal for RAV4s. Must be some water drainage thing.
I ve noticed that weird water sloshing sound in my RAV4 during rainy days here in Oregon. It kinda freaked me out at first but then my friend said its just the body design allowing water to flow which sounded kinda believable. Its not uncommon apparently.
I think it could be worse if it was actually leaking into the car instead.
I remember driving my RAV4 in the rain up in Seattle and hearing that odd water sound every time I opened the door. I thought it was strange at first but then figured it’s just how the car deals with water. Sounds normal to me.
Oh man I remember driving my RAV4 around Seattle in the rain and that water sound from the door was so loud I thought something was broken I asked a mechanic and they said it’s pretty normal because of the seals I’ve just learned to live with it now.
It still feels weird like my car is talking back to me but hey it’s just part of the RAV4 experience I guess.
Ive noticed that sound too when driving around Seattle during those downpours. It’s kinda relaxing honestly almost like the car is singing its own rainy day tune. So weird but comforting.
My RAV4 does it and I have friends with the same experience. Makes me feel like I’ve got a true rain companion.
I remember driving my RAV4 in Seattle last spring and hearing that same water slosh sound during the rain. I thought my car was leaking at first but turns out it’s just normal. I’ve read a lot of people saying it happens so you’re not alone in this.
I ve noticed that sound too in my RAV4 when driving through puddles in Seattle. it’s almost like a gentle splash. I thought it was just part of the design.
Definitely not alone in this. kinda makes me smile hearing it honestly.
