Is the model y acceleration boost worth the investment?

Is the model y acceleration boost worth the investment?

So, last week I was at this light, and a friend had just got their Model Y with the acceleration boost. I thought it was just a gimmick, but then they took off like a rocket. I mean, I was still counting “one Mississippi” when they were already halfway down the street. It got me thinkin, is it really that serious?

But then I remembered my own Y, and wonder if I should just bite the bullet and get it too. I mean, who wouldn’t want a little extra pep when merging onto the highway, right? Have you guys noticed a big difference. Or is it more for bragging rights at the coffee shop?

I live in Texas and I ve added the acceleration boost for my Model Y. Honestly it makes driving way more fun. I feel like a kid again zipping around. But for some people it might not be worth the extra cash just for that thrill.

I’ve seen folks say it’s just a luxury when the car is already fast. Fair point but I think if you’re into performance it’s a nice little upgrade.

Ive driven one in California and the boost is insane it really kicks you back in your seat. But honestly not sure if it’s worth the extra cash for daily driving. Maybe for fun.

Ive driven a Model Y in Toronto and the acceleration is insane. I was surprised how quick it felt in city traffic. Totally adds to the excitement.

Honestly though it kinda depends on your driving style. If you’re a speed demon maybe worth it otherwise might not be necessary.

Living in Toronto I’ve felt the Model Y’s quickness without the boost already it’s nice but not sure if I need the extra dunno.

Driving my friend’s Model Y in California was a wild ride. That acceleration boost hits differently especially when merging on highways. I’ve been thinking about it for my own vehicle but 2 grand seems steep. If you crave speed and fun maybe go for it but if you just want a practical car maybe skip it.

I ve driven one in California and wow that boost is insane. Totally felt like a rollercoaster ride. If you’re into speed it’s definitely worth it but I guess it depends on how you drive. Really fun though.

Ive driven my Model Y in Toronto and the acceleration boost really adds a thrill. It feels like a different car honestly.

But yeah it feels a bit pricey for what you get.

I ve driven a Model Y in Seattle and honestly the acceleration boost feels fun but pricey after a while. I guess it depends on how much you enjoy that rush. Not really necessary for daily driving though.

I ve been driving around in my Model Y here in Toronto and honestly the acceleration is already pretty zippy. The boost is tempting but do I really need to shell out more cash just for a little extra thrill? Sometimes I think it could be just a fun novelty for a bit.

It felt great when I tried my buddy’s boosted version but I m still on the fence about if it’s really worth it in daily driving.

Ive been driving my Model Y in Ohio and honestly the acceleration boost was a game changer for me. The thrill of quick starts just feels worth it.

But hey some folks might not care for the extra cost.

I ve been cruising around Seattle and I gotta say the Model Y acceleration boost does feel nice. But for the price is it really worth it when I can still get a thrill without it?

My buddy got it in Toronto and swears by it. I don’t know man maybe I just don’t need that extra push but can’t deny it makes merging fun.

I live in Toronto and got the boost after a buddy suggested it. Honestly I ve been loving the extra zip. Feels like a thrill ride every time I hit the road. Totally worth it for me.

I remember taking my Model Y out on a trip upstate in New York and hitting that boost. It was like I was flying without wings. The extra kick is pretty sweet for merging onto highways or just feeling that rush on a quiet empty road. I’ve enjoyed it so much but I’ve also thought is it really worth the extra dollars.

I’ve been driving my Model Y in sunny California and honestly that acceleration boost is kinda wild. It really brings that extra thrill when merging on highways.

But yeah 2G from my pocket feels a bit much for just a little oomph. Worth it I guess if you love speed.
