Is the interior space better in the RAV4 vs Highlander?

so, a while back, I went on a road trip with my buddies in a RAV4. we packed the car with snacks and luggage and guess what, there was still room left. it was like Tetris but in a car, ya know? I really felt like we were all comfy and could move around without elbowing each other.

but then I got to sit in a Highlander, and man, that thing just felt bigger. like, it’s like a mini mansion on wheels. I could totally see a family of 10 living in there. well, maybe not 10, but you get my point.

And the storage in the Highlander was wild. have you ever tried to fit a whole camping setup in the back of a RAV4? it’s like playing Jenga.

so which one is better for interior space? is it just me or does the Highlander have the upper hand here? it’s a tough call, honestly.

I ve driven both and honestly the RAV4 feels cozier like a little nest compared to the Highlander which feels more spacious but kinda intimidating

Out here in Ontario I prefer the RAV4 for city driving and tight parking spots. The Highlander’s nice for family road trips though

I ve been in both the RAV4 and Highlander while road-tripping through California. Honestly the space in the RAV4 felt more cozy but the Highlander was super spacious with that third row. I guess it kind of depends on what you need. If you are hauling a bunch of kids Highlander is a win. Just love the feel of RAV4 though.

I ve had my RAV4 in Canada for years now and I gotta say its cozy but the Highlander feels like a mini living room. RAV4 is great for city driving though so it kinda balances out. Depends on what you need really.

I ve driven both and honestly the RAV4 feels more snug like a cozy blanket in winter up here in Canada while the Highlander has that spacious open road vibe if you need to haul more gear.

It really depends on your lifestyle I guess

the Highlander’s interior feels way roomier for my tall family here in Colorado I have to say that RAV4 seems cramped after a long trip

but the RAV4 is super cozy for city driving

oh the choice is tough

Had a RAV4 for a weekend trip last summer in Ontario and the interior was cozy but felt a bit cramped with my family.

I’ve also tried the Highlander and wow that space feels like a mini living room perfect for road trips. More room for luggage too.

If your thing is comfort and space Highlander’s definitely the way to go. RAV4 is sweet but it’s more for solo or couple adventures.

Had a RAV4 for a bit and loved how cozy the front felt but when family piled in the back it got tight real quick.

I ve rode in a Highlander though and man its like a mini van inside way more room for everyone but kind of bulky if you just want to run to the store.

So I guess it depends on your needs huh

I ve been in both and honestly RAV4 feels cozier for daily drives but Highlander wins on family road trips easily tho

Interesting how the space kinda shifts the vibe like in winter you want that extra room when piling kids in after skiing
