Is the 2007 F150 46 Triton a 3 valve engine or not?

hey guys, so I was messing around with my buddy’s 2007 F150 with the 4.6 Triton, and I had to check if it’s a 3-valve engine. It totally is. Like, I should’ve known better, but who can keep up with all these engine specs, right?

I remember the first time I worked on it, thinking it was just some old school truck. But then, bam, I find out it has that 3-valve setup. It’s kind of cool, though, makes it better on gas.

Have you ever tried to fix something in an engine and just ended up making it worse? My hands were all greasy, and I got lost in the parts. What a mess. Anyway, if you’re ever in doubt about your engine, just look it up.

I remember when I bought my 2007 F150 in North Carolina I’ve had a love hate relationship with that 4.6 Triton. It’s definitely a 3 valve engine.

More power than my old truck and sounds great but the fuel economy could’ve been better.

I ve had my 2007 F150 with the 4.6 and yeah its a 3 valve engine I remember cruising through the Rockies about a year ago.

It really runs smooth doesn’t have all the torque but it gets the job done.

I ve had my 2007 F150 46 Triton for a while now and yeah its a 3 valve engine. I remember when I first drove it down to the coast of Florida

It’s got some good power but I’ve had some issues with the spark plugs stripping. Just something to think about if you’re looking at one.

I’ve had my 2007 F150 with the 4.6 Triton for a while now up in Michigan. Gotta say it’s a solid truck but yeah it’s definitely a 3 valve engine.

I remember my buddy swearing it was a 2 valve and I had to school him. It just pulls like a beast.

I remember when my buddy bought a 2007 F150 in Michigan. We thought it was a 3 valve but turns out it’s got the 2 valve setup. Wild how that works.

Just goes to show you gotta check the details before assuming.

Ive worked on a few of those in Kansas and pretty sure the 2007 F150 46 Triton is a 3 valve engine honestly loved the power and torque it brings especially when towing my boat around the lakes there

That engine has its quirks but overall reliable for hauling stuff

I ve got a 2007 F150 with the 4.6 Triton and yeah it’s a 3 valve engine. I remember the first time I took it out on a road trip from Texas to Colorado. Power was decent but I wished for better mpg. Feels solid overall.

I ve had my 2007 F150 46 Triton for a couple years now and yeah its the 3 valve engine not as great on gas but it pulls my trailer like a champ up here in Wisconsin.

I think the power is solid but sometimes I wonder if the technology is really worth it I mean all these valves and stuff can get complicated.

I ve had my 2007 F150 with the 4.6 Triton for years in Montana and yep it’s a 3 valve engine.

Barely ever gave me trouble just the regular maintenance stuff nothing crazy. Good truck overall.

I ve had my 2007 F150 with the 4.6 Triton for a couple of years now here in Texas.

It’s definitely a 3 valve engine so much power and smooth drive.

I remember taking it off-road once and it handled like a beast.

No regrets getting it at all.

I ve had my 2007 F150 for years and yes its a 3 valve engine. Feels good to drive around Texas in it.

Ive owned a 2007 F150 here in Texas and yeah it does have the 3 valve engine. It’s a solid truck for towing but man those spark plugs driving me nuts sometimes. The power’s decent tho can’t complain too much.

I remember when I got my 07 F150 in Texas. It was a sweet ride.

Yeah it’s got the 4.6 Triton engine and it’s definitely a 3 valve system.

Solid performance for towing but pretty average on fuel. I ve seen worse for sure.

I remember when my buddy in Texas got his 2007 F150 46 Triton to haul his trailer. We were debating if it was that 3 valve hustle. I’ve always thought it was cool how Ford did their engines back then. Makes you wonder about the engineering decisions right? The power is there but 3 valve or not who knows honestly.

I ve got a 2007 F150 46 Triton and yeah its definitely a 3 valve engine. I remember driving it around in Michigan and feeling that power on the highway. Smooth ride for sure.

I remember my buddy’s 2007 F150 out in Texas I ve heard its got a 4.6 Triton and yeah it is a 3 valve engine. Pretty decent power but you gotta love the rumble it gives.

Could use a bit of tuning for better efficiency tho. Overall not bad for a work truck.

I ve had my 2007 F150 with the 4.6 Triton for a couple years now down in Texas and yep its a 3 valve engine. Really smooth ride and pretty decent power for towing and stuff. Definitely a solid choice for work.

some people say its a pain for repairs but I think its worth it overall.

I remember my buddy’s 2007 F150 out in Texas with the 4.6 Triton I was under the hood thinking is this thing a 3 valve or not it drove me nuts

Seems like it is a 3 valve engine so you got that sweet power and decent fuel economy but I’ve seen some debates about it still

At the end of the day it pulls strong and handles well on those long drives
