Is the 1990 Honda Civic K series reliable for daily driving?

so I had this 1990 Honda Civic with a K series engine, right? it was my daily driver for like three years. reliable? oh man, let me tell you, that thing just kept going. I would drive it everywhere, even on long road trips. and every time I thought it would finally break down, it just laughed in my face.

But, I had to change the oil more times than I can count. it was like, why does it drink oil like I drink coffee in the morning? but hey, I learned to keep a spare quart in the trunk.
