Is noise in ford f150 when accelerating a common problem?

so, i’ve noticed this weird noise in my f150 when i step on the gas. at first, i thought it was just me, but then my buddy said he’s had the same thing happen. it’s like a loud whoosh or something, kinda annoying.

but, like, is this a common thing? i mean, do all f150s do this or just mine? i guess it could be the exhaust or some loose stuff. just hope my truck isn’t falling apart. anyone else dealt with this?

Living in Texas, I’ve noticed that noise when accelerating in my F150 too. It’s been a bit of a pain, but I’ve learned it can be pretty common. Sometimes, it’s just the exhaust – but I’ve also seen posts about loose heat shields or worn-out mounts. Just good to know I’m not alone in this! Hope it helps others out there!

I ve noticed this noise too when accelerating in my 2016 F150 here in Texas. At first, it worried me, but after chatting with some friends, it seems pretty common. Some say it could be just the exhaust or engine working harder. As long as there’s no loss in power, I’m good! Just part of owning a truck, I guess.

I’ve definitely noticed some noise when accelerating in my 2019 F150 up here in Canada. It sounds kinda like a throaty growl, not super loud but definitely noticeable. After chatting with a few buddies, I’ve learned it’s not uncommon, especially with the eco-boost engines. Some say it’s just the truck being a truck, which is cool, but others suggest checking the exhaust. Overall, I just roll with it!

I’ve noticed some noise in my 2018 F150 when accelerating, especially when driving through Ontario. A buddy of mine had the same issue but got it fixed under warranty. I think it’s somewhat common, but might just depend on the model year. Still love my truck, though!
