Is it worth repairing my Honda Civic rack or buying a new one?

so, my buddy had a problem with his Honda Civic rack recently. kinda funny, he was like, “do I fix this thing or just buy a new one?” I told him, man, if it ain’t leaking all over the place, maybe just repair it. but then again, new racks are kinda nice.

i remember when my rack went out, I thought, “nah, I’ll just patch it up.” well, it worked for a bit but ended up costing more in the long run. ever thought about how much time it takes to fix? sometimes it feels like a part-time job.

is it better to save some cash, or just drop the cash on new? what do you guys think?

I ve been in a similar spot with my Honda Civic, living in Toronto. Decided to repair mine a few months back instead of getting a new one. It saved me a ton of cash, and honestly, it drove just as smooth after! But if your rack is totally shot, sometimes a new one makes more sense in the long run. Just weigh the costs!

But honestly, if the repair costs are too close to a new one, I’d say go for the new. It could save you headaches down the line. But if it’s a simple fix, definitely worth it!
