Is it common for ford f150 tail light bulbs to burn out quickly?

so, I got my 2017 F150 a couple years ago and man, I swear I’ve changed the tail light bulbs like, a million times. First time it happened, I thought maybe it was just a fluke or whatever, but then, a few months later, another one went out. I mean, what gives? It’s like the truck is trying to tell me something, maybe “buy new bulbs”?

I don’t drive around much at night, but when I do, it feels like I gotta check the lights all the time. But what’s up with that? Do the bulbs just not like my truck or maybe it’s the way the F150’s wired?

I heard from someone that these trucks have a rep for burning out bulbs fast, but can that be true? It’s starting to feel like I’m in a light bulb race or something. Anyone else having this issue or is it just me?

man I live in Texas and I’ve had my F150 for like 3 years and honestly the tail light bulbs seem to burn out way too fast like I’m swapping them out every few months its annoying I thought it was just me but it seems like a common thing around here

my buddy had one too and he said the same thing like what gives Ford so work on that

i live in Michigan and my f150 tail light bulbs burned out way too fast. I ve swapped them like three times in a year. I don’t get it maybe it’s just the cheap bulbs but it’s annoying to keep fixing them when I could be driving. just a weird quirk I guess

I remember when my buddy’s F150 had this issue in Michigan. He replaced bulbs every few months like it was a part-time job.

It’s kinda frustrating honestly.

I ve had my F150 in Texas for a couple years now and I swear those tail lights burn out like they’re on a timer. It gets frustrating always replacing them.

My buddy had the same issue up in Canada too. Must be something in the design or just bad luck.

In the Midwest I’ve noticed my F150 tail light bulbs seem to burn out way too fast. I feel like I’m replacing them every few months.

Not sure if it’s the weather or what but it’s getting really annoying.

Sometimes I think it might just be the quality of bulbs these days. Just last week I had to change another one. Feels like a hassle.

I’ve heard others say the same thing from all over the place. Maybe they just use cheap bulbs or it’s the vehicle design who knows. Either way it gets frustrating.

Some guys say it’s the heat but honestly I think it’s just bad luck.

Not a huge deal but still annoying.

I ve had my 2018 F150 in Ohio since new and just recently replaced the tail light bulbs twice. Seems like every couple months they burn out on me. Really annoying especially since I don’t drive that much. Maybe it’s just a design flaw or the weather here. Who knows.
