Is Honda Civic vs Honda Accord more fuel-efficient for commuters?

so, I’ve been driving a Honda Civic for a while now. honestly, it’s pretty good on gas. I can get around 35 mpg if I drive like a grandma. But then, my buddy switched to a Honda Accord and he swears it’s better for long commutes.

But I think it’s just bigger and more comfy. do you really need all that space for just one person? Civic is smaller, which makes it easier to park. Anyway, anybody else have experiences? Let’s figure out which one really saves more bucks at the pump.

I have a 2020 Accord and its been great on gas for my daily commute in Toronto. The Civic is nice too but the Accord feels more comfy for long drives. Good balance between space and efficiency

I’ve heard people say the Civic beats Accord in fuel economy but I haven’t felt a big difference. They both handle well but honestly loving my Accord plus it’s got way more room. Perfect for my gear

Civic has this vibe makes commuting feel less boring while still being easy on the wallet for gas runs

I ve driven both in Toronto and honestly the Civic felt peppier on the highway but the Accord was comfy for long stretches. Not sure.

Honda engines usually deliver decent mileage but for commuters I think it really depends on how you drive. Both are solid options.

Commuting in Toronto I found the Civic gets me more miles per gallon but the Accord has this sweet roomy vibe when stuck in traffic

but Accord has space for my grocery runs

fuel efficiency ain’t a huge deal when I drive less than 10 miles a day

I lived in Seattle for a couple years and drove a Civic I’ve gotta say it was super cute and surprisingly fuel efficient for my daily commutes the gas tank hardly ever felt empty.

But then my buddy got an Accord and honestly it’s like a cozy couch on wheels. Sometimes I think the Accord might edge out on highway efficiency but that could be just me being biased.

Ive driven both around Toronto and honestly the Civic feels a bit more zippy with better mileage

Accord is spacious though for long trips no doubt

the Accord is comfy for long rides but man the Civic gets better gas mileage

Ive driven both and for my daily commutes through the city the Civic feels a bit more nimble and gets better gas mileage

The Accord is great for longer trips but fuel efficiency is so-so compared to the Civic

I ve had both cars in Toronto and honestly the Civic felt better on gas for city driving like all those stop-and-go situations. Plus it’s lighter so maybe that helps too. But Accord is way roomier if you need the space.

I remember driving my buddy’s Accord around Toronto last summer and I was shocked at how much gas it saved. I’ve always thought the Civic was the champ for commuters but honestly the Accord felt kinda similar and roomy. It’s a toss-up but I prefer the Accord for that comfort on long drives.

I’ve driven both and honestly the Civic feels peppier in the city especially in Toronto traffic. I have a friend with an Accord and while it’s comfy for longer drives the fuel efficiency doesn’t seem as great.

For daily commuting the Civic definitely has that edge. But hey it’s all about what fits your lifestyle.

I’ve driven my Accord for years in Chicago traffic and honestly it’s been pretty great on gas even with all those stops.

But my buddy swears by his Civic for commuting and says it’s even better.

Guess it really depends on your daily grind.

I drove a Honda Civic for years while commuting in Seattle and it was amazing on gas I’ve saved so much money. But the Accord feels nice too and has that extra space.

I guess it depends on how much you’re driving and what you need honestly. Both are solid but Civic might just edge it out for city driving.

In my experience driving in Toronto I’ve found the Civic does way better on gas than the Accord. But the Accord has that comfy vibe for long drives. I ve had my Civic for years now and it just sips fuel it’s pretty impressive honestly.

I have owned both and honestly the Civic was way better for my commute in Toronto way more mpg

But then again the Accord felt more comfy on those long drives to the cottage
