so i’ve been hearing a thump from my intake on my 2015 F150. at first, I thought it was just my truck being its usual noisy self. but then it got me worried. like, what if it’s something serious?
last week, I took a buddy for a drive, and he goes, “dude, what’s that sound?” i just laughed and said, “that’s just my truck trying to rap.” but honestly, it did sound weird.
has anyone else dealt with this? i mean, i’ve heard thumps before, but this one’s kinda loud. i changed the air filter not too long ago, and it still makes the noise. do you think it could be a loose hose or something?
or am i just overthinking it again, like always?
I ve noticed a thump too! My F150 from 2015 sometimes does this, I thought it was weird, but I guess it’s normal.
In my 2015 F150, I ve heard that thump too. I remember driving through Michigan and thinking it was odd at first, but my mechanic said it’s pretty normal. Just the engine doing its thing, I guess! They said not to worry unless it gets louder.
I’ve got a 2015 F150 too, and I tuink those thumps are pretty common. I first noticed it last summer in Texas when I was taking off. After some research, it seems like it’s just the intake doing its thing. As long as the engine’s runnin fine, I wouldn’t worry too much about it!
I’ve had a thump from the intake too on my 2015 F150 while driving through Colorado. At first, it freaked me out, but my mechanic assured me it’s a normal sound. Just part of the beastly power these trucks have, or so he says! But I’m keeping an ear out, just to be safe!
I’ve gotta say, I’ve noticed that thump too in my 2015 F150 while driving around here in Texas. At first, I thought something was wrong, but after some research, it seems pretty common. Just part of the engine’s character!
I ve had a similar noise in my F150 in Texas, and it turned out to be normal. Just a quirk of the engine!
I ve got a 2015 F150 too, and I remember hearing a thump from the intake when I first got it. Turns out, it was just the air being sucked in, nothing serious! I wouldn’t worry too much unless it gets louder or changes.
I’ve had my 2015 F150 for about two years now, and I’ve noticed a similar thump from the intake. It initially freaked me out, but I took it to my mechanic here in Texas, and he said it’s pretty common, especially with heavy acceleration. Honestly, as long as the truck runs smooth otherwise, I think it’s just one of those quirks we gotta deal with!
I’ve driven my 2015 F150 up here in Ontario, and I’ve noticed a bit of a thump from the intake too. At first, I thought it was something serious, but after chatting with my mechanic, he mentioned it can be normal when the engine’s adjusting airflow. Doesn’t hurt to keep an ear out, though! Just glad it’s not just me hearing things!
I’ve driven my 2015 F150 for a few years now, and I’ve noticed a thump from the intake, especially after I step on the gas in town here in Texas. My mechanic said it’s normal, but it can be nerve-wracking. Just keep an ear on it and maybe get it checked during your next service, just to be safe!

In my experience, I’ve noticed a thump from the intake on my 2015 F150, especially during acceleration here in Michigan. At first, it freaked me out, but my mechanic said it’s pretty common. Just a characteristic of the engine’s design, he said. So, I wouldn’t stress too much about it!
I’ve had my 2015 F150 for a few years now here in Texas, and I remember noticing a thump from the intake area too. At first, I thought it was something serious! But it turns out it’s pretty normal, especially if you’re accelerating. Just make sure to keep an ear out for any other weird sounds, you know? Trucks can be quirky!
