Is a drill free light bar mount f150 sturdy enough for off-roading?
so last weekend I took my F150 out to some trails with my buddies. I just slapped on this drill free light bar mount. Thought it’d be easy peasy. But man, after a few bumps and jumps, I was really sweating it.
I mean, I saw a couple of gnarly bumps and was like, “is this thing gonna hold?” It felt like I was trying to hold on to a greased pig. And honestly, I was kinda impressed it didn’t fall off. But still, anyone else had this mount? Like, does it really hold up when you’re flying over rocks and mud?
I wanna know if I’m just lucky or if this mount can really handle the wild side. I feel like one bad landing and it might just say, “peace out.” What do you all think?
I’ve taken my F150 out in the Rockies with a drill-free light bar mount and honestly it held up pretty well.
But I wonder how it would fare in tougher mud terrains.
I ve used a drill free light bar mount on my F150 in the Rockies and it held up fine over rocky trails.
Honestly it seems like a solid option for light bars. Just keep an eye on it for extra bumpy rides.
I ve had my drill free light bar mount on my F150 for about a year now in Colorado and it has held up pretty well.
Did some serious off-roading last month and it didn’t budge.
I was surprised honestly thought it would be flimsy but it feels solid like it’s part of the truck.
just got back from a gnarly trip to Moab and I gotta say my drill free light bar mount held up surprisingly well
I ve seen some people doubt its sturdiness but mine didn’t budge at all on those rocky trails so maybe it does depend on how you drive
If you re just cruising on easier terrain I think it’ll work fine but don’t push it too hard without checking first
I ve had a drill free light bar mount on my F150 for a year now out in the mountains of Colorado and honestly it’s held up fine. I’ve tackled some rocky trails and it’s still sturdy. The wind resistance was a worry but never had a problem.
Some friends say they wouldn’t trust it for serious off-roading but for weekend adventures it’s been great for me. Just make sure to check it every now and then.
I ve been out in Moab with my buddy and the drill free light bar mount held up pretty well. Rock crawling in a 2017 F150 we hit some gnarly bumps and I thought it would snap but it stayed solid.
It’s surprising how well these mounts can handle serious off-roading. For anyone looking to illuminate those dark trails without drilling into their truck I definitely think it’s worth considering. Just don’t go too wild and expect miracles.
I ve used a drill free light bar mount on my F150 in the woods of British Columbia it held up fine for me.
Got a buddy who swears by it but I dunno it feels kinda sketchy off-road.
I ve used a drill free light bar mount on my F150 in the Rockies and it held up pretty well on some rough trails. I wouldn’t take it through anything too extreme though.
Seems solid for light use but not sure I’d trust it for heavy off-roading.
I ve used a drill free light bar mount on my F150 for some rocky trails in Colorado and its held up surprisingly well. Not the toughest terrain but it seems sturdy enough for a casual off-road trip.
I wouldn’t trust it for extreme stuff though but for a weekend warrior it’s fine.
