I ve got a 2012 Corolla and I’ve never changed the ball joints yet. But I hear some people say around 100k miles is a good rule. Up here in Minnesota the potholes are savage so I might need to check em sooner. Just keep an eye on those creaks.
my uncle had a corolla in Michigan and he replaced the ball joints twice in 10 years probably cause of the harsh winters they get.
I ve heard different advice tho I think if you feel any weird noises or wobbles it’s best to get them checked out right away. better safe than sorry you know.
I’ve done it myself a couple times and its not as hard as it sounds just need patience.
