How often should I perform maintenance on 11th gen Civic?

so I got my 11th gen Civic like a year ago, right? At first, I thought maintenance was that thing you do when the car starts sounding like a blender. But after my buddy’s Civic started making weird noises, I learned the hard way that it’s better to be safe than sorry.

I’ve been doing oil changes every 5,000 miles, which feels like a good plan. But then I started wondering, maybe I should’ve checked other stuff too? Like the brake pads and all that.

And honestly, once I forgot to rotate my tires for like 10,000 miles. That was a big oof. Anyway, what do you guys usually do for maintenance? Do you stick to the manual or just wing it like me?
