How much does a f150 weigh compared to other trucks?

so, I was thinking about how much an F-150 weighs compared to other trucks. mine’s a 2020 model and it weighs around 4,000 pounds. that’s pretty light for a truck, right? i mean, when you compare it to a Ram 1500 or a Chevy Silverado, those can weigh over 5,000 pounds. crazy, huh?

But you know, sometimes I wish my truck was heavier. like, when I’m hauling stuff, it feels like I’m just floating along. ever had that feeling?

And honestly, driving my buddy’s heavy-duty Ford feels like driving a tank. but it drinks gas like it’s at a buffet. so what do you think, is light better or are we just missing out?

I ve driven F150s around here in Texas and they definitely feel heavier than some other trucks like the Tacoma or Colorado.

But I guess that just makes them feel more sturdy during road trips.

I’ve had my F150 for years and it feels solid compared to my neighbor’s RAM it’s definitely heavier but I like that for stability on the road.

Funny how my buddy’s Tacoma seems so much lighter though handling’s a dream off-road while the F150 just feels hefty. It’s all about preference I guess.

Man I’ve always thought the F150 was on the heavier side like it feels sturdy in Alberta driving through snow but not the heaviest out there crazy how some trucks weigh more

Also I’ve seen some guys with those giant diesel pickups and they seem like tanks compared to my F150 in the mud crazy world of trucks

I’ve driven an F150 through the Rockies and it handles great but it feels heavy compared to say a Tacoma or a Ranger. The weight kinda gives it that solid feel though while towing. Just my two cents.

i remember when i moved to Texas and was amazed by the size of pickup trucks here. the F150 feels hefty compared to my old Tacoma.

its around 5,000 lbs while a Ram can get way heavier. I’ve seen some massive rigs rollin by that make my F150 look small. weight matters out here for towing but its all in what you need.

Ive driven a few trucks around Texas and the F150 feels just right in weight compared to a Ram or Silverado I mean not too heavy not too light you know what I mean

Its got that sweet balance for towing and off-roading never felt like it was dragging me down

I’ve driven my buddy’s F150 in Texas and it feels pretty hefty but not overwhelming like some of the bigger rigs. We were hauling stuff to the ranch and it handled like a champ. Compared to my old Chevy it felt more solid but he’s had his fair share of parking struggles. Gotta say though it does feel lighter than some heavier duty trucks out there like the Ram.

I’ve driven my buddy’s F150 in Texas and wow it’s surprisingly light for a full-size truck. Compared to my old Silverado I feel like I can maneuver it so much easier in tight spots. Seems like the weight difference really matters.

I’ve always thought the F150 packs a good punch compared to those heavier duty trucks. Last summer in Texas I helped my buddy haul some stuff with his dually and wow that thing was a beast. But for daily driving I prefer the lighter F150.

It feels more nimble and the gas mileage is way better. Good balance I reckon.

I remember driving my buddy’s F150 up in Canada last summer and wow it felt solid on the road. Compared to my old Ram it felt a bit lighter but still packs a punch.

He said his F150 weighed around 5,000 pounds which made me think how heavy other trucks can get.

I’ve seen some heavy duty models tip the scales over 7,000 pounds which is nuts. That weight really makes a difference in fuel economy too.

man I remember driving my buddy’s F150 in Texas it felt super solid but also heavy compared to my old Chevy.

I’d say they pack on the pounds for sure but they hold their weight well.

I’ve seen some lighter trucks out there but nothing really beats that sturdy feel like an F150. Crazy how they compare on the road though.

I remember driving my buddy’s F150 around Michigan last summer it’s surprisingly heavy compared to some other trucks I’ve been in.

They feel sturdier like they could take a hit better than lighter models but man parking can be a challenge sometimes.

But it definitely gives you that road presence you want when you roll up somewhere.
