so, my experience with the rear brakes on my Honda Civic 8th gen has been interesting. usually, they last around 30,000 to 50,000 miles, but it kinda depends on how you drive. if you’re more of a brake slammer like my buddy, then good luck getting them to last. he had to change his in like 25k miles.
But I think regular maintenance helps a lot. when i had mine checked a couple of times, they said I could go longer. and like, did you know that driving in traffic wears them out faster? so, if you’re in a big city, that might be an issue. but overall, just keep an eye on them and don’t ignore those squeaky sounds.
Living in Canada, I’ve found that my Honda Civic’s rear brakes lasted about 70k miles before needing a change. I ve heard people say they can wear out quicker depending on driving habits tho. Overall, pretty solid performance for a compact car! Definitely love my Civic!
Living in Ontario, I’ve noticed my Honda Civic 8th rear brakes lasted about 40,000 miles. I remember when they started squeaking, and I thought it was just a small issue, but nope! Ended up replacing them sooner than expected. Overall, I’ve heard mixed reviews, but regular maintenance can really help extend their life, I think!
I’ve had my Honda Civic 8th gen for over five years now, and the rear brakes lasted me about 50,000 miles before needing a change. I ve noticed they can depend on driving habits though. If you’re gentle on the brakes, you might get more mileage out of them! Just keep an eye on those indicators!
I ve noticed that my 8th gen Honda Civic rear brakes last about 40k to 50k miles here in California. I drive mostly city miles, so they wear down quicker. My friend in Canada got around 60k with mostly highway driving. It really depends on your driving habits, I guess! But overall, I’ve been happy with mine. Great little car!
I ve had my 2007 Civic in Ontario for over four years now, and the rear brakes lasted me about 50,000 miles before needing a change. I do a lot of city driving, so I guess that makes a difference. They hold up pretty well overall, but I’d definitely recommend checking 'em regularly, especially with all the stop-and-go traffic!
In my experience with my 08 Civic in Ontario, I ve gotten about 40k miles on rear brakes. Pretty decent!
I’ve got a 2009 Civic and my rear brakes lasted around 60,000 miles. I’m in Michigan, so driving through all the snow probably took a toll. It’s pretty impressive for city driving, though. Just be sure to check them regularly! I’ve heard some folks get even more mileage, but it’s all about how you drive and maintain them, right?
I’ve had my 8th gen Civic in Toronto for about 5 years now, and I’ve noticed the rear brakes last around 40-50k miles if you drive mostly city. They wear a bit faster in stop-and-go traffic. Overall, pretty solid performance!
I’ve had my Honda Civic 8th gen for about 5 years now and just replaced the rear brakes at around 40,000 miles. I ve heard others say theirs lasted way longer, some up to 60,000! Living in California, I do a lot of stop-and-go driving, which might’ve worn mine down faster. Overall, I think it’s pretty solid for city driving!
I’ve had my Civic for over 5 years now, and I’ve replaced the rear brakes twice. Living in rainy Oregon, I probably wear them down faster. I’ve found they usually last about 40k miles if you’re easy on the pedal. But wow, when they need changing, you definitely know it!
