How easy is it to set up a rav4 soft top roof tent?

so, last summer i decided to go camping with my buddies. we had this epic plan to just hit the road and sleep under the stars. but we were kinda worried about the tent setup. i mean, who wants to wrestle with those poles after a long drive, right? Then i found this soft top roof tent for my rav4 and thought, why not.

So, setting it up was way easier than i thought. you just unzip it, pull it up, and boom, you’re ready to crash. Took us like 10 mins. But i did trip over the ladder once, so don’t try to be cool and rush it. Did it stay up all night? Yep.

just a heads up though, if it rains, make sure you’ve got some towels handy. Also, ever tried climbing in a tent after a long hike, it’s like trying to wrestle a bear

I’ve set up my RAV4 soft top roof tent in the mountains of Colorado last summer and honestly it was pretty easy once I figured out the straps. The instructions could be clearer but once you get it going it’s really handy.

Packing it up is a different story tho.

After some trial and error I finally got it right and it was worth it for that night sky

Setting up the RAV4 soft top was surprisingly chill. I’ve done it in the rainy forests of Oregon and honestly it took like 15 minutes tops. Just unfold it and secure a few straps. Not a bad way to boost my camping game. Feels cozy once you’re in too.

woke up in my rav4 last summer in Banff and it was magic. setting up the soft top was super easy like 10 minutes max. I ve gone car camping before but this felt different like combine comfort with adventure. just loved the fresh air and views. worth it.

setting up my RAV4 soft top tent was surprisingly simple I did it at a campsite in Colorado the other weekend took like 10 minutes or so pretty much just unzip and unfold I’ve seen more complicated stuff for sure
definitely feels cozy up there with the stars and everything I have to say it’s a game changer for weekend getaways

After that I took it to Algonquin Park and it really held up against the rain. Super cozy inside and way more fun than sleeping in the car.

I set up my RAV4 soft top tent last summer in the Rockies. Took me about 20 mins maybe. Pretty straightforward really. Just pop it open attach the straps and voila.

Really liked how it felt camping under the stars listening to nature

Only downside was packing it up in the morning which was kinda annoying
