How does the trucontact tour 2009 rav4 handle in winter conditions?

so, I’ve driven the 2009 RAV4 with trucontact tires in winter and let me tell you, it was a bit of a wild ride. first off, they grip pretty well on snow but when it’s icy, u gotta be careful. one time, I thought I could drift around a corner like I was in a movie. turns out, not so much.

the traction control is decent though, which saved my butt a couple times. have you ever felt like you were more sliding than driving? yeah, that was me. overall, it’s solid for winter, just don’t get too cocky, right?
